Long has the city of Regalia suffered at the hands of the Sanguine. It has seen its sons slain, its daughters taken, its houses burned and its leadership eroded. But proudly has it carried itself through these crises, emerging each time the victor. With each repeated blow, it rises again stronger, prouder, and faces its next opponent. The Kathar have dealt upon the nation dark days, with overwhelming numbers and vile Voidling sorcery, and the attention of the people is focused outward upon the Elven Moors. But an insidious force lies under our very feet. When our power is needed most to destroy the enemies who assail us, they crop up, clawing our ankles, biting at our heels. The Sanguine of Regalia and their Hierarchy grow more desperate and more brutal with each defeat they suffer. Having tried and failed to attack the Corsair Lord and his rightful positions at the ferries, they are now regrouping underground, considering new targets. They walked into our holdings and took one of the Graywitch Guards, Leironse, for a time. They have broken their only extant truce, and forced their way into Petalcourt, disregarding the only scrap of honor which still bound them. They walk among us in droves, Alais and Zikiel alike, and prey upon the naïve and the unheeding. Even as they suffer defeats, their rash confidence and insolence only grows - only recently were we forced at their hands to place the city entire under a curfew. Forced to lock ourselves in our buildings and wait in quiet fear. Is this victory - is this progress? And now the Sanguine make moves to destroy the Altalar as well. The solution is simple: much clemency has been shown. Many kindnesses have been given. But the day has arrived where the aggressions of the past cannot be forgiven or forgotten, and they must finally pay for the years upon years of what they have exacted to our families, our psyches, and our hearts.

By declaration of:
The SIHNDAR of the School of Esa-Ajo
The ALTALAR of the Metlalaan
The YANAR of Petalcourt
And those AVANTHAR who wish to fight:

The solution is simple. They come for the Pantheon Cistern.
They must not be allowed to seize it.
They will be destroyed by their own avarice.

In short: to war against the Sanguine. No mercy. Rid the sewers of filth.

Any who wish to contribute to the cause by fighting may pen a letter to the unmarked, unnamed box specified below, where those undertaking the mustering may find you and incorporate you into the effort.

[EDIT: To 'send a letter', DM Oka#0001 on Discord. She'll see it. ]

Aleck spoke up above the rabble at the small table within the Royal Guard Barracks, eyeing his men with a scowl. "The people have risen up time and time again in an attempt to purge Vamperism from the Holy City and still-.. What good has it done us in the past? This will be nothing but another failed attempt, the Sanguine spread faster than they can be cured." He let loose a low grumble, looking amongst his men and running a gloved hand over his freshly shaved head. "May the Spirit protect the people who wish for a city free of this disease, regardless of the stupidity that dwells within each of them."

Shirina just looked somewhat in silence"We might never be able to get rid of vampirism..But we should keep fighting for the good of the empire. No matter how impossible it may seem."She said blankly, clearly not even really believing her own statement as she shook her head slightly, leting out a sigh

Archard regarded the notice with a light chill of his spine, recalling numerous attempts on his life in the past. He hummed to himself, passing along the street and resuming his casual stroll as he murmured to himself, suppressing a smirk "How barbaric.. Good thing I'm just a law-abiding citizen.."

"Hmmm," grumbled Xilthruum deeply as he sat by the warm fire of the sewer hovel. People passed him by with boxes and shelves full of books and knick-knacks, two of his employees even dragging in an old couch that had been left for the rubbish heap by a home that didn't need it anymore.

"I hadn't realized the Altalar had such a backing in this city. An offensive won't be possible even with the support of my men at this rate." The lich looked ungratefully to his company of alarmingly alluring workers and crimson witches that were loyal to the cause before continuing: "not that I'd be able to risk it at this current point in time. But maybe now's the time to push out another objective. It seems a take-over to their infrastructure is being accepted as full-blown extermination."

With joints cracking and feet having fallen asleep, Xilthruum began to levitate and moved to the open door of the chamber, picking up his whip from the wall as he turned back to announce his departure. "Do pardon me, ladies and gentlemen, but I have some diplomacy to engage in. But in case you get bored, I left behind a list of chores on the door before you can have play-time with your friends," exclaimed the lich to no one in particular before pulling the door shut behind him.

Rosana simply sighed a long drawn out gesture of exasperation. "The Sanguine aren't even the biggest threats, the biggest threats of late is the Violets.. sure the Sanguine are far up there on being big and bad, but we really do need to give our attention to either disbanding the Violets who committed murder in cold blood. Even if you squash one Vampire - 10 more will appear. You don't know who could or will be a vampire. I cannot say I hate the Violets themselves, I don't hate the people - I hate the actions they have done and the actions they have made. They have not been lately thinking of the lash back they're going to get for the Nook Affair. However with the recent capture of Kara - whom of which I believe is a Violet, I can understand where you would want to destroy the vampires."

With that the tall Isldar stood and paced back and forth, softly speaking in low murmurs for a moment as she mused on her thoughts. Though she soon spoke again. "Slowly Regalia is crumbling on itself - Soon we will have to fear for our lives again dearest owl of mine, for the next move they will surely make is to riot in the streets - and into the sewers. Perhaps high ground is truly our calling.."

The small owl only let out a soft hoot - it's wide beady eyes peering at it's master. It lifted into the air and flew out the window... as Rosana watched.. "There might not be much time left here for the both of us - I envy you for your wings and freedom you have Skye."

Damien let out a sigh, the man have high hopes that this joined force would not last, "Futile attempts.. But then again, I'm not affected by this. I hope." Shuffling off casually as leaves, no trace of fear in his face, whistling while at it.

Esta looked over the notice, ripping it up and just dumping it where it belongs

[ The vandalisms of this wayward Sihndar were rather quickly reversed, with a new notice springing up in its place. The message was clear: these four communities were united in their current direction, and had been pushed too far. Unless the Vampires made serious conciliatory measures or sought an immediate truce, they would continue to work body and soul to become the engine of their destruction. ]

Lazzul'ei Daevaar ran her clawed hand through her hair, an eeriely sinister growing across her face,"<Sihn> It's open season." Her head threw back, eyes quenching shut, then reopening to this dull red glow; A voice seeped out, echoed by the second,"<Sihn> Long overdue is our rising crescendo against the Sanguine curse. We shall strike at their heart with extreme conviction. Extreme precision. Extreme prejudice. We shall not rest until this entire city, and then world, is rid of this dispicable disease." Her eyes faded back to her cold blue stare, nodding in agreement to Karelia's words,"Elghinn ulu lil' duanda."

Haunting laughter screamed out from the cave-like home of the villainous Sanguine, their calls echoing through the local tunnels of Regalia's underbelly.

The call to arms had clearly been received with no scripted response as of yet though many of the notes found damaged worshiping devices under them such a small birdhouse-like structure with a rotted wooden coin in the middle, clearly having its roof burnt to allow a cave in & rather silly drawings of a humanoid woman with their lower body being replaced by spider legs!

K. Kippings pulled one of the papers from a notice board to fold it up and close it between pages of his leather bound notebook
