A note is posted upon the noticeboard outside of the Knight compound, the words on it are written in semi-sloppy black ink handwriting, but completely legible. In fact, it was clear the writer was educated properly, at least. At the bottom of the page there was the Bloodcast Insignia.

To all Darkwalds;

I don't do this often, so excuse me, alright?

Perhaps you may have heard my name. I am the one that struck against Ayas' coven's "home".

I reach out this day with a proposition-- no, a calling. I have been issued an opportunity from the depths below our sewers. A challenge, from a Bloodcast who's turned most foul in the hands of leeches.

I will take two of your most skillful Puretek fighters down into the depths, accompanied by any and all knights who care to watch this bout and assure no foulplay. Their own twisted sense of honor may keep such from happening, but to be careful is one lesson you need in the sewers.

In short:

Do you want to send a message to the sanguine population?

Hello! As you can see in this letter, my character is recruiting 2 Darkwald knights to venture into the sewers to participate in a Henate's duel he was challenged to!

The date has not yet been figured out. I will come to you with possible times for this event to take place and see what works for all of us! (I currently have Friday off of work so that's a possibility, BEFORE 8 PM EST, the day can be discussed, but the limit on time remains)

If you would like to respond to this, just respond here with an IC letter and depending on the contents Rourke will call you in for an interview or just accept through a return letter. If I don't answer within this day or the next one, poke me on Discord at Behemoth#4907

From the desk of the Militia Commander, Contingent member, Knight of the Bloodcast, Alban Koning:

I have a call of my own. Anyone who wants to help me kick the shit out of this halfbrained halfling, pop down to the Bank. We can chat there. Better yet, he can swing over there himself. Maybe then he'll find the courage to come down here without wearing a damned helmet, and actually get a call from some useful Puretek users.

I think you misunderstand our purpose.

The Knights of the Darkwald Order are fiercely dedicated to our mission to remove the presence of vile and corruptive influences from his Imperial Holiness' Empire. As displayed in our work in Tirgunn (placing any individual opinions aside), we are not willing to compromise and allow evil to flourish for the sake of convenience. Despite what most of your peers might tell you, no, we are not barbarians itching for an opportunity to kill or display our feats of 'power'; we want to make the archipelago a safe place to raise your children, and your neighbour's children, and every descendent thereafter.

Partaking in a perverted 'honour duel' with beings whose minds have long since been corrupted by the Void is not apart of our duty. The Belliard's armament is not a toy for you to call for, and I find the very suggestion of you saying you will 'take us' is insulting to the convictions we stand and sacrifice our lives for.

With all that said, I give you credit for your boldness to attack a vile coven so openly. I suggest you not partake in their pitiful charade, and instead remain focused towards bettering your fellow Regalian men and women - as the Bloodcasts have always done - instead of worrying what some sanguineous ingrates have to say. If you wish for us to help defend the people from these twisted Voidlings, by all means, we will be there in an instant. Otherwise, we will continue our duty of subduing covens and forcefully strapping the afflicted into the Sacrosankt, until every Regalian can sleep soundly at night.

P.S., We accept tip-offs!

May you walk in the light of the Spirit,
Ser Garrick Mannes Wernher,
Knight of Darkwald

Rafael squints fiercely in effort as he tries to decipher the words scribbled down on the paper, a small bead of sweat running down the side of his forehead.

"'Ah don tch- I don - /I don't/ doo f-fhis of- offen, so e- ekk- egsy-'"

His patience, tried, tested and now finally broken by his inability to even make out the first sentence, shrunk to give way to violent frustration. His face backed away from the notice to instead introduce the paper to his fist. Satisfaction came quickly when the noticeboard shook and shuddered to the impact, if only for a moment, and Rafael swiftly seized the idea that he had made things even. With his head held high, the knight moves on, completely ignorant of the fact that he had probably fixed the writing to sit more neatly against the board.
