BACKGROUND
WHO ARE WE?

While the West Selvarian Walds are typically peaceful, a volatile three-way conflict rages near Frontierra and Val Allornavaal (colloquially Allorn Empire) borders. The Ailor, driven by logging interests, clash with the forest-protecting Selvath, while the expansionist Allorn seek to exploit the chaos and claim territory.

Amidst this, a small, tightly-knit clan known as the Nomëssa resides within Frontierra, their farmstead nestled within the overlapping territory of the West Selvarian Walds. These Nomëssa are dedicated farmhands, cultivating winter wheat and berry-bushes on a tranquil Yanar farmstead. This is said to be found pinched between a mountain's neck and a valley where, if you were to run off the wayside the Fasaëlle family caravans that traverse Amontaar, you could find shelter from the frequent battlegrounds (see the red circle in the map provided).

'Nomëssa,' meaning 'silver(-sworn) promise' in Altalar, began as a middle name bestowed upon Elamöna by her matriarch, Lyssäney Nomëssa. This somewhat odd, two-hundred-year-old Yanar possibly holds a degree of notoriety for being so long-lived in a war-torn region. Beyond that, little is known of her, save for the locals' tales—a mix of awe and mockery—regarding her expertise in Evergrowth Magic, and her adamant refusal to leave the Walds. They speak of her ability to continuously replenish the sections of the Frontierra forests lost to the ongoing conflicts. Keeping it in line with the meaning, Elamöna has continued to fashion the name into a symbol of familial bond, shared with her chosen family, apprentices, and close companions, and consequently made Regalia her station.

ROLEPLAY
WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Elamöna is an Estelley priestess, more specifically an agent of Artarel, the Estelley Goddess of Justice. It is natural her priorities are to do with faith and its people. I will often engage with other Player Characters from theological perspectives, and any interaction with and within this Roleplay Group should expect some sembelance of that. Some of this in manifested in the form of:
  • Promised mentor-mentee dynamics, should you arrange it (approachable both IC and OOC). This is to engage in Magic exposition.
  • Conflict with ideologies (inherent disagreements between each other, and clash with other outside faiths/individuals/groups). This is to engage in religious exposition, particularly from the Estelley viewpoint.
  • In-house events (currently, as of 26/03/2025 of updating this Page, we are hosting Demon Hunts in a setting called Presenna). This is to let Players experiment in both CRP and plausible Events.
    • The Vanyastra mercenaries, the Nomëssa, and their other allies have set off together to the mangrove swamps of Presenna to deal with demon hauntings sighted there. This has the added benefit of allowing them to establish an encampment as a retreat from Regalia, while also occasionally assisting with reclamation efforts in the swamps

From @TeaRoses' Wisteria, she is an Estelley scribe, fiercely loyal to her patron, Aseia, the god of Knowledge and Magical Learning, engaging in the following:
  • The Library of Forgotten Pleasures:
    • As Regalia's most notable Aseia shrine and Estelley archives, it houses Player-written scripts from past events, poems, literature, and more. You can anticipate engaging in a wide array of academic, arcane, and religious-themed roleplay, particularly if you enjoy research and learning lore.
    • Players can have the opportunity to have books donated and published through the library.
  • The Arcanist Society:
    • While not exclusively for the Nomëssa, Wisteria is a vocal member of this Regalian group of diverse mages.
    • You can expect engaging roleplay centered around magical ideology and arcane experimentation. Sharing spells, discussing magic law, and exploring conflicts in practices are all potential avenues for interaction with other mages.
