The Crimson Inquisition in late February of 308 AC would once more become an independent Charter following the abolish of the Violet Order under Lord Commander William Howlester. Their newfound independence would be under the leadership still of Ser Karp Kippings, retaining many of their previous rights with more focus around religion. Now operating to ensure the protection of all legal faiths and up-keeping all religious guidelines, along with the persecution of illegal faiths and worshipers of these illegal faiths. The Crimson Inquisition has kept their long lived reputation for effective coercion through whatever means necessary, though also continues with their recent development of being generally more accepting, of course only if their duties permit it.

In late 306 AC, the Crimson Inquisition was reformed after a long absence by the then Secretary for the Faith Jared Luchs Kade. After an initially strong but ultimately haphazard rule by Hengest Harhold, said Secretary would take the reigns of the Organization as a splinter faction of the Violet Order, under his directive as Grand Commissioner of the Violet Order.
The Crimson Inquisition serves as both an inquisitorial and investigative arm of the Violet Order, as well as a close ally to the Church, fostering cooperation between both parties. The honor of the Imperial Spirit, and Holy Law, is their primary directive, along with the controlling of Aberrants, undesirables, and arcane threats to the Empire. This, along with the general investigative work done on behalf of the Grand Commissioner, is a callback to their role in 304 AC roughly two years after their initial formation.
The Crimson Inquisition under the Violet Order was put under command of Ser Karp Kippings, Holy Paladin of the Villiers-Eclaire Order in the final months of 307 AC. With the Crimson Inquisition under new leadership they took a more understanding but still firm stanced view on law enforcement. As expected by an organization using the name Crimson Inquisition they uphold many of their traditional duties such as handling Religious affairs and respond to religious orientated crimes. While remaining an investigative chapter for the Grand Commissioner Jared Kade they have further reached out and expanded to handle the more intensive law enforcement situations needing a heavy hand as well as being considered the directors or overseers of coercion and interrogation sessions within Greygate castle.

The Crimson Inquisition holds the standard rights and permits that are provided to all approved guard charters, along with additional rights. These rights and permits are used by the Inquisitors of the Crimson Inquisition in order to properly carry out their duties as the religious protectors of the City of Regalia. To utilize these rights and permits for selfish or corrupt intent is to be viable to a dishonorable discharge from the Crimson Inquisition, likely entailing consequential repercussions in the form of lashings, beatings, and other reprimands.━━━━━━▴━━━━━━

Crimson Commander

▸The Commander is the highest rank in the hierarchy, and commands over the entirety of the Crimson Inquisition. The Commander upholds the right to recruit and demote as they please, to arrange the ranks of the Crimson Inquisition and to ensure the stability, activity, and prowess of the Guard Charter. Crimson Lieutenant Commander
▸The Lieutenant Commander is the second highest rank in the hierarchy, and holds permission to command the Captains and Inquisitors of the Crimson Inquisition. Crimson Captain

Crimson Drill Sergeant
▸The Drill Sergeants of the Charter are above the Inquisitors, though below the Captains. The authority of the Drill Sergeant is purely internal, having no right to represent the Crimson Inquisition or make decisions for the Inquisition as Captains and above may. Instead the Drill Sergeants have the right to give orders to lower ranking Inquisitors during patrols or during arrests when a higher ranking officer is unavailable to do so. They may also order any Inquisitor below them to partake in a fitness and combat competency check up.
Crimson Inquisitors
▸The Crimson Inquisitors are the regular guardsmen of the Regiment, and the manforce. Their responsibility is to maintain peace in the streets of Regalia, to perform their duties with honor and loyalty. The Inquisitors are expected to be obedient to their higher ups, and to obey commands.
Crimson Neophytes
▸The Crimson Neophytes are those new to the Crimson Inquisition, those who have not yet proven their abilities or been tested well enough to be a full Inquisitor. While lower in ranking than an Inquisitor they fall in the same place in the chain of command, obeying the Captains and above.
Crimson Penitents
▸The Crimson Penitents are comprised of lesser beings trying to prove themselves to the Empire through service. Criminals and those considered None Civil Status or less will always start off as a Crimson Penitent within the ranks of the Crimson Inquisition. Through hard work and dedication a Crimson Penitent may be elevated to the status of Crimson Inquisitor, though with much scrutiny.
