The Moselberg House Guard was established in 303AC at the foundation of the new noble house under the duchess, charged with her protection and to participate in any war or conflict her forces do. The guard participated in various partisan actions during the Anahera protectorate, and was later inducted into the Silver Key Society as an associate organisation. It is also known as the "Society Guard" or the "Citadel Guard", referencing the central structure in Gram, Morgwen.

Structure

The Legion is formally led by the Black Curate, a mysterious folk-lore figure from Morgwen. He is said to be a Sancella curate or reverend and a distant relative to the Moselberg/Walerius house, though he never shows his face or reveals his identity other than donning an iconic blackened steel armour for troop viewings. Under him are the captains of the legion, who command the troops. There are no other ranks, though there is a respect-based seniority hierarchy within the commanding ranks.
