The Dark Emporium's Signature Fight Club is proud to announce: Blood!

What name could be simpler? More direct and to the point? I - Mórrígan MacAllister - invite the fighters and denizens of Regalia's Underworld to partake in a truly gruesome event.

A six man free-for-all to the death, with a single rule:

You may not wear or summon armour of any kind.

Every slash shall draw blood- every wound shall rend flesh- an event to truly entertain those enthusiasts of violence among us! I look forward to seeing you there.

Located at /tp NewCrookback, head straight into the Emporium; third shop on the left.

When? |
Friday, June 18th, 309 AC - The venue shall open at 10pm UTC / 6pm EDT / 11pm BST

The fight will begin shortly after the venue opens- with time for people to sit, place bets, etc.

Who? |
Anyone can attend as long as they don't wear or summon armour

Why? |
As impressive as armoured fighting and anti-armour techniques can be, there comes a point where people use armour as a crutch. The techniques used in completely unarmoured fighting are often more technical, more violent, and far, far bloodier!

OOC Rules |

The fight is set to last 1 hour and 30 minutes! It may end sooner, it may last slightly longer.

When the timer runs out, we will enter sudden death, and a handful of rolling rounds will dictate winners if our fighters haven't killed each other by then.

Be nice and be willing to simplify any of your emotes. Try not to take too long with your emotes either. I recommending private-messaging the target of your attacks so that the player doesn't miss them.

I also highly recommend placing square brackets around names in your emotes. Here's an example:

Swings his sword at [ Paul ].+
Parries [ David's ] sword.+

< ! > Close Range Rule < ! >
If a character within two blocks of you uses a ranged attack, you may roll a d20. If your number is higher than theirs, you are able to interrupt them - even if their attack would normally hit you.

To use this rule, type | [ Interruption! ]# | and then /roll 20.

Reasoning: This rule is to stop people from using ranged attacks as pseudo enforced-roll melee attacks. I've seen players use ranged attacks at near point-blank-range, citing the fact they rolled a 7 to deal unavoidable sword-stab-tier damage. It's honestly a little cheesy to me. This rule gives you the chance to potentially interrupt ranged attacks, so long as you're close enough.

Spectators do not need to sign up! Merely arrive at the time and find a seat! Betting is encouraged.

If there are free spots, anyone is free to fill them on the night of the event!
