When ever there is something good, there is something bad. But what is bad? What is something in Massive that annoys you to no end?
I don't count god RP and vamp shrieking as a pet peeve, becuase it seem they are hated by all. My pet peeve would be those people that call themselves "Masked Man", "Hooded Stranger", "Royal Night" or any over name that isn't your characters name. That would be like Posidem calling himself "Powerful Mage" I try talk to the propel
That do this, but they just say "but he is a masked man". Now before I go full rage (yes, yes funny Billy Rage
Is Raging. haha) what are your pet peeves?

I think one of my pet peeves in role-play would be someone knowing your name when you don't even know the person. (I think this is a pet peeve.)

My pet peeve, is when people mistake me for a Dude, when im nost obviously a girl. or walk up to me saying "Hello strange hooded woman!"

My pet peeve is how little roleplay there is. When I picture a role play server, I picture people doing it constantly, not having groups of people standing around arguing about which Call of Duty is the best, and then they occasionally role play. If people want to say stuff that's not related to role play, they should use (( )), not just blabbing about random real life stuff all the time.

I'm not a fan of the unnecessary drama some of the youthful players attempt to start in Regalia. Sudden murders or nonsense like that. I'm also a firm believer any vampire giving obvious sings of vampirism and trying to "RP" should be jailed or killed.

Hm... a pet peeve...

ooc wars

I have, on more than one occasion, just got up and left in the middle of a roleplay due to people dissolving into ooc argument. It seems to be happening around me a lot recently, and it's driving me up the wall. Can't I just roleplay, letting things transpire, without having to get into an ooc discussion about it DURING the roleplay? It completely ruins it.

When people are rping with you, and they dodge every freaking hit :P I hate that one, whenever they do that I am all like
Alrighty_then.gif

When women escape my castle and swear revenge, then ask me to come save them from the Beauvert's basement...
-looks at Darknesscrusher -
No but really when people call me a vampire just because my eyes are auburn, not even red...aburn..then ask me to go out in sunlight, to jump, accuse me due to paleness...because Blake dresses darkly...all things that make Blake a stereo typical vampire look, even though he would look this way if he was cured...I swear vampire media killed alot of the style i like. Q_Q

When people yell at you ooc because your Rp character is a jerk, Some people don't understand I have nothing agenst them ooc.

I have a few.
  • Character Rewrites. I have rewritten my characters clearly after major changes, and still some people think Silver is an undead pirate (from one of my early concepts).
  • Getting too attached to characters. I remember once in a low point of my life I actually cried when I thought of killing Silver off.
  • Not being attached enough to characters. I have about 4 characters I have written up and deleted/made inactive.
  • People mixing IC and OOC opinions and feelings up. I did this once and really hurt a good friend. We're over it all now, but I'm still a lot more wary when separating the boundaries of fake and real.
  • Over-eagerness. Sometimes people rashly run into decisions without fully thinking of repercussions. I admit to doing this, but so many others don't.
  • People not acknowledging Character Rollbacks. We get it, our characters had good times together. Unfortunately, the reasons they met and even socialised are now gone, so... yeah. Them still knowing each other is lore incompliant.
  • Redoing scenes due to interruption. Silvelaine's second meeting had to be redone four times because people showed up.

I think some of the flame wars regarding the mixture of RP and PvP really bug me. It seems like when they start (and half the time this isn't even true) they are logical and make sense. But five replies later its just a huge flame war that never seems to end.

A roleplay cut too short. A new roleplayer being attacked instead of advised- we were all new once, after all. When the illustrated word of plot I've spent hours writing is denied, and left 'I'll m33t ya @ uspawn l8tr' after Ive waited half an hour for a reply. And the hidden invasion of fish orcs- They're real, I tell you!

Glub. Glub.

Another of mine is the constant question "Where is Silver's mouth?", as it is at the bottom of his face. His beard is slightly darker there. Besides, further skin edits coming soon.

My pet peeve is female characters between the age of 12-18 who lament in the streets of regalia about how conflict is evil and how everyone should hold hands and how the conflicts are distressing them on an emotional level.

These characters need to be bitchslapped back into the kitchen or nursery where they belong, I despise mary sueists.

omg yes a PLACE TO BITCH ABOUT THINGS.

I hate it when someone goes ooc without warning or indication or any reason to think it isn't rp, and I continue on in character. And I reply to things in character and treat the situation the way my character would for an extended amount of time, and then later you find out it was all ooc and they insist you still haven't met their character or that none of the past 20 minutes happened. And then sometimes they're asking you like, "so how should we have our characters meet?" and internally you're just like, "oh my god well we could have taken care of this just now, when I thought we were in character, but I GUESS NOT."

A roleplay cut too short.
ALSO, this this this.

My pet peeve is also when people don't know my character but say my name, then when I ask, 'How do you know my name?' they say, 'I can see it in your eyes.'

From the old one, my only real pet peeve is, "I can't get back to my universe."

Otherwise I can handle most god-rp in a very handy fashion.

Firstly I don't think people who call the self "Masked Man" is a problem as it isn't over powered and in RL if someone mad masked you wouldn't know there name you'd know their voice, size and weight. But anyway, I feel that whoever overused OOC is annoying and can often break up RP

The most annoying thing ever is when you're trying to stage a dramatic death for your character and someone just jumps in screaming "I'LL SAVE YOU!" (party)
No. Just no. Let me die already. (facepalm)

I hate it when two things happen
A: The character never gets hurt or even bruised from getting an arrow to the knee, or otherwise acting pro
B: Not going to anyone, but people who think Maiar Dakkar and Yanar are like water fire and earth princesses instead of fire lizards water lizards and walking twigs

Anyone ever to use Textspeak in roleplay and people who do not understand how to separate IC and OOC, they all must burn.

Loud chewing, God rp, people who are rude just for the fun of it, snoring, etc.

Ah I have thought of another peeve.

When someone, New or regardless, completely refuses to read lore even after they ask about it and/or
chooses to ignore it and go against lore despite their possibly gained Knowledge.

I once had someone tell me they weren't interested in a lore strict roleplay server and that massive wasn't the place for them, then decided to stay and consistently break lore. It mainly drove me up the wall because he kept trying to roleplay with me and I am pretty lore strict in my roleplay.

Oh my god yes! Dx
Since when did Maiar and Dakkar become lizards?
Sakkar have been lizards since the name change, maiar are more like mermaids now so their appearance varies at times. However I know for fact the lore still supports fairy yanar so no, not all of them HAVE to look like walking sticks.

My only pet peeve that I have is that Assassin's Creed skins and this damn "prince" skin spread through the streets of Regalia faster than a damn pony saying love meh

Edit: Screamers and Shriekers... So I even need to say anything?

I would say my pet peeve is that "roleplay" is mostly just people hanging around in the tavern

Pet peeve, hmm...
When two people conversing type things at the same time and send it at the same time.

Another one of my pet peeves, is when some one tries start RP by saying "enters the tavern bleeding" and when no one responds the first time they just keep writing that they are bleeding over and over again.

I think my pet peeve is not being given enough time to react. I'll be in the middle of typing something, but the person I'm rping with types faster, and makes me have to re-do my entire sentence at times because they posted something that conflicted with what I was writing.

I hate when that happens. (Sometimes, I just post it and say I started typing befo' you. )

Wewt, I finally get to lash out all my spite and hatred.

1-10573, Version A.
  1. Text talkers. I'm just not happy with them, I am a complete Grammar Nazi, and just recently learned to stop myself from correcting people. But it still bothers me.
  2. PvPeanuts. Some of them can be cool, but I'm sorry guys, it's annoying when every few moments you go;
    images
  3. As stated from people above, "I know your name without seeing you before". One guy called me Pole Buaevere, and asked where I have been for the past 22 years. Well, 22 years ago, I DIDN'T EXIST. :c
  4. People controlling RP. There is a difference between stating how they COULD be feeling once they drink something, ex. "You just drank poison in RP," but then there are some people like "-Drops Pol to the ground, forces him to pull out sword and makes him stab himself-".
  5. Genecide65, this one is to you baby. Killing someone on the street without permission or professional RP skills.
  6. When people ask questions like this?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!??!?!?!!!!!??!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!??!?!!!!!
  7. People whom rate you random stuff for the fun of it. *Posts a picture of a baby* *OFFENSIVE* *Puts up a picture of someone killing someone else* *WINNER*
  8. When people have long lists.
  9. When people are hypocrites.
  10. Posting an extremely long wall of text that isn't an introduction, and it all is on a single detail that they elaborate on for about 15 minutes. And it's off topic.
  1. (Pardon the random one, it won't go away for some reason...)
