@Zacatero created a thread in the off topic category asking which pokemon the player was. I'd like to try and take that idea and apply it to the lore, and to characters.
What if Aloria had Pokemon? Meaning that Pokemon were just an accepted thing in society. Even though realistically Pokemon in the current setting would be the epitome of heresy, for the sake of the study let's just assume everything is fine.
What kind of Pokemon would your character have, and why? Also, no legendaries or Pokemon that wouldn't be possible in Aloria (so sorry Porygon, no computers means you don't exist ;-
I'll start and give an example:
House Drache:
while not a single character, the noble house would probably keep with the same types of Pokemon. Being from a coastal barony, as well as their obvious name, the Drache family would probably use a combination of Water and Dragon type Pokemon. The Dratini line would be used by the family, due to the Pokemon living in aquatic areas.
Walthur Drake:
Like the navigator he is, Walthur would probably use a Wingull to aid him on the seas. This Wingull would probably be nearing its evolution to Pelipper in the near future.
