How Bad Off Is Regalia If Your Character's Goals Are Met

Well, Chengis doesn't have any goals, so in all honesty, if he were to take over the city tomorrow, he'd just let stuff go on as usual minus the brutality of the guards.

Spoiler: Cynsosiel Vogel

If Cynny got her way, she'd become the new Empress. All citizens would be mutated into vilitatei, and Blood Mages would serve her court. Void Worship would be the only legal religion. Anyone caught worshipping Estel would be executed. Slavery would also be made illegal, and nobility abolished. Basically, complete madness. Regalia's relationship with foreign powers would dwindle, and she'd likely be killed in an uprising of sorts. After that, Regalia would descend into anarchy until/unless someone else stepped up as ruler. Even then, that's a lotta damage to reverse.

Spoiler: Marisa Grimaldi

Marisa's goal is basically to earn power for herself her family both above ground and in the sewers. Ideally, this'd feature her becoming the new Empress and having complete power over all sewer gangs. She'd probably execute anyone who disagreed with her rule, and then make Deathlings, heretics, etc kill-on-sight, and take away power from other nobles, except for her relatives, who would actually gain power. She'd be a harsh ruler, but honestly preferable to Cynny. And the sewer bit is self-explanatory; she'd be in charge of every other gang in some way.

Spoiler: Juelliae Llaenecia

Julie's main goal is to completely eradicate all Void Worshippers and spread Worship of Estel. The results of which are fairly self-explanatory, and might seem positive on the surface, since yyyeah Void Worshippers are typically edgy. She'd go about this by working her way up to power, and becoming the new Empress. Next, she'd make Void possessed that don't turn themselves in immediately kill-on-sight, and same thing with sanguines, but Void possessed would even have a bounty on their heads. From there, she would fully legalize Estel Worship, make Exist Possession fully legal (but not Void Possession), all Exist-based forms of magic are legal, though the more offensive types are unable to be used except for in self-defense. Only Shendar could be legally enslaved, and ever other race would be pretty equal. However, with this power, she'd also heavily tax the rich and give to the poor until there were no more social classes and it became a negative thing, due to her Prosperity Possession, and nobility would abolished. Due to that, there might be quite a bit of chaos and society would probably lose its order. Stiiiill, preferable to Cynny lmfao.

If Eirik was to have his goals met then Regalia would be fine, he just wants to be written into the History Books as a hero and have his family name carried around upon the lips of passerby's as if talking about Legends in a book. If he was given power over Regalia like become Emperor or something, he would probably not even keep it and just change the entire Ruling system to that of a Feudal Republic where families could war to take control over things and rule with a council under each of their lands so that he could just return to his village in Nordskag and live in relative peace.

If Benedict Rothschild had his way, he would have the leadership of Regalia loyal to him or replaced, and the Emperor dead. Think Lo Takeover, but inside out. No large fighting. Nobody to lead rebellions. He becomes Emperor. Non-Ailor are likely all kicked down to 3rd class or lower, or annihilated entirely within Regalia. He would rule with an iron fist. Execute people in the masses to remove anything he dislikes. Then he'd probably live luxuriously, while sending Regalia to the grave in a massive world war. He'd not admit defeat, or accept death by an enemy, of course, and likely kill himself before capture. Holy freaking crud I just realized he's actually hitler
