James Larkson
  • Donates 1,000 regals to help the residents of petal court rebuild, which defaults to the Regalian Recovery Fund.
  • Donates 500 regals to the Crookback Council for repairs to Crookback Bay. This defaults to Valarosta Ino-Femunn to be distributed to the Crookback Council as the Crookback Representative.
  • Additionally, James Larkson makes both groups aware that he is available to utilise his carpentry skills if required.

  • Set Augustin Reinard's Crown Stipend to 0
  • Set Milena Cadieux's Crown Stipend to 0
  • Remove Klaus Typhonus from Crown Stipend listing.
  • Removes Julius Peirgarten from the Crown Stipend listing
  • Markus Delmotte seeks out the assistance of the Bastillion School of Enchantment to look into whether any prominent occult groups or individuals use scorpions in their symbolism. The Scholars are able to explain that individual symbolism such as crimson red and purple are common hallmarks of Void occult groups, as a case example, but specific animals and symbols are rarely ever used to act as sigils for specific groups as it makes these groups far too easy to track and identify. That said, they refer to some texts within the possession of the Songaskian Masaya that may lead to further yield, but it's difficult to ground anything solid at this stage.
  • Delmotte then lifts the sanctions on Jimensta.

House Latimer
  • Invests 25,000 regals so that the Citadel in his land could produce some munition prototypes for the war effort. They warn Latimer that these may not be entirely what he wished for given the investment, but they should be done by the next week.
  • Pays Ariramorel 6,000 regals.
  • Pays 2,000 regals to Alaric Keen.
  • Dedicates 5,000 of their standing army to the State.
  • Sets Tax to 35%.
Abigail Tucker
  • Pays Aesling Sylfina 9,000 regals.

House de Azciossia [Hexenblood Circle]
  • Sets State Taxes to 35%.
  • Sets Crown Taxes to 7%.
  • 10,000 regals are spent on an expedition to the Kaell Temple. Both Anathema and Robin of Vallemark make the journey and investigate the temple. They find no one inside, not a soul, and barely anything is still in tact. Anathema does however locate something hidden under mounds of rubble, still preserved and unique to the eye amidst everything else. After some investigation, they both discover it to be an artifact known as the 'Sense of Pride', taking it into their possession and returning to Regalia with it. (Use of which will be in DMs)
  • 10,000 regals are used for a business venture.

Ariramorel
  • 10,000 regals are used to create the 'watchdog' position in Coltyr to watch over the affairs of Ariramorel to ensure they remain on the straight and honorable path. What's more, the aristocracy of Coltyr advertise to the Knights in the Holy City that they are looking for an honorable, non-noble affiliated knight to elect to this position and to pen them their interest (Submit a Progression Report if you're interested).
  • Ariramorel codifies explicit legal protections for the Wards of Fae Order and grants complete exemption from any laws against magic teaching and use within Ariramorel lands, and the right to legally conduct their duels over the ownership of the holy relics they seek. Additionally, Fae Sepulchres are given explicit right to house these artifacts and use them as the Order deems necessary regardless of any laws that may otherwise make it illegal to own or use them.

Goretaan Throng
  • Quin checks in on the Colosseum being built in Ultainiss to discover that it would be at least another 4 weeks until construction was finished.
  • Quin also gives leave for the Url Pirates to target von Duerr merchant vessels, which is incredibly illegal as piracy is outlawed in the Empire, but nets Goretaan 5,000 regals worth of goods from their usual weekly income and an additional 12,000 regals which were stored on the merchant vessels themselves.
  • Slavery is completely outlawed in Clannadh Alba as well as 'slave catching' within all of Goretaan's lands.
  • A non-aggression pact is signed with di Ortiz who, the week before, had committed an act of war against the Goretaan Throng and the people of Clannadh Alba. This peace treaty saw a lot of the population, Url especially, outraged at Quin and began to question his leadership, seeing him as a weak and a push over ruler. Opinion of him drops significantly.
  • Purchases 2,000 more troops and urlifies them with his progression ability.

House Black
  • 10,000 regals are spent trying to entice the Wool trade which fails miserably as the same old traders came to purchase their usual amounts. Thus, the 10,000 regal investment is swallowed up with no pay off whatsoever.
  • House Black invests 10,000 regals to discuss an idea for defending the Shoenn river and gathers engineers for such. The engineers on Dianne's orders look into creating a large 'Boom' which is a large river chain that would halt ships in their path. At the current rate, such a thing would require another three weeks to construct but would definitely work to stop military or trade movements while up.

House von Drachenburg
  • Invests another 20,000 regals into the construction of St Belliards cathedral, making the total investment 90,000 regals and roughly two more weeks for construction to complete.

House Avalorn
  • Raises their State Tax to 35% to match the updated War Tax.

House Typhonus
  • 10,000 regals are invested in a business venture.
  • 10,000 regals are then also invested in conducting survey work in and around Hadarians Chain with interest to set up a series of roads and fortifications through the tunnels. However, without specific specifications such as the size of the fortifications, how defendable they need to be, how large the road network should be, no price is returned.
  • 3,000 troops from the Typhonus standing army is moved to Nytra to deter cross border raiding from the Szabadok of Est-Esverh. None occurs.
  • 3,000 troops of the standing army and 1 Airship is moved to Boss-Nen to deter cross border raiding from the Szabadok of Est Esverh. None occurs.

Logistics Minister Ardige Viduggla
  • The Logistics Ministry received and now approves a request from Grand Marshal Reimar Typhonnus for 225,000 men of the current 247,800 and all of the current ships dedicated to the State for use by the Marshal Cabinet's members in the war against the Sendrassian Allar. These troops and ships may be used by the Cabinet's membership until the Logistics Ministry indicates otherward. Additionally, airships may be used on the frontlines.

The following losses are assigned.

Ships - 6

House Black - 1
House Delmotte - 2
House Latimer - 1
House Golden Triumvirate - 1
State - 1

Soldiers - 5,500

House Eledhwen - 500
House Duerr - 1000
House Latimer - 1000
House Reinard - 1000
House Piergarten - 1000
House Delmotte - 1000

Humaira Reinard
  • Donates 10,000 regals to Ibrahim Batunoglu.
  • Pays 2,000 regals to Aesling Sylfina.
  • Donates 10,000 regals to the Regalian Recovery Fund.
  • Pays 2,000 regals to Lucallian Valrel.
  • Donates 1,000 regals to the Belliard Guild.

House di Ortiz [The Golden Triumvirate]
  • Pays 10,000 regals to the Crookback Restoration Fund.
  • Pays Arathorn Yllanorin 10,000 regals.
  • Pays 5,000 regals to Goretaan Throng.

Xilthruum [Arathorn Yllanorin]
  • Pays 10,000 regals to the Crookback Restoration Fund.

House von Duerr
  • Invests 10,000 regals to establish/register a Hanse of 'Von Duerr Pharmaceuticals' within the Calderliga Union, which fails for too little funding.

House Kreiburg
  • Sets Crown Tax to 0%.
  • Send 3,000 more of the Kreiburg Standing Army to the War front with a request that they be placed under Theopold's command.
  • 10,000 regals are invested into gathering local architects, mathematicians and miners to discuss the creation of a grand system of caverns which could be safely traversed and hiked by tourists who want to explore the Genevaudian Mountain chain. The predicted cost is extremely high, almost half a million regals for such a venture, and even with the POSSIBILITY of finding ores and gemstones while mining, it's such a lavish expense that the Kreiburg family is heavily advised against it.

House Slumberwood
  • Invests 65,000 regals into the proposed military academy in Ust-Esverh and construction gets well underway with a completion expectation of 5 weeks.
  • 10,000 regals is invested in hosting a party for the Baldmarkian lords at the Slumberwood castle in Rumvalia throughout the weekend with feasts, dancing and general revelry, however 10,000 regals barely cuts it and it comes across as barebones, with the entertainment being cheap, untalented jesters and barely enough food for two courses. The Baldmarkian lords leave in less than a good mood, feeling insulted by the very small amount of investment.

House Peirgarten
  • Amelina spends 10,000 regals on one of the almshouses within Lorhauser so that the poor could be provided with blankets, furs and other winter related necessities which helps improve opinion of her by those who were already Peirgarten loyalists.
  • However, the hardline Leutz Vixe clash with the Peirgarten Loyalist faction throughout the week and minor scuffles break out in the capital streets with calls for Amelina to step down and her husband to be sent back to Daenshore for corrupting their land. It was obvious that rising tensions were leading to something big.

Foreign Secretary Amelina Peirgarten
  • The Foreign Secretary heads to Ithania with Countess Milena Cadieux and Duke Markus Delmotte to meet with King Florent de Gosselin. They make a request to come to some sort of deal to have him dedicate men or finances to the war effort in Sendras however, he declines to wish to even get involved in the slightest, as the war is over a thousand miles away and has little to do with his domain, and would only consider a deal if the Ministry actually exercised some semblance of good, competent diplomacy and actually came to him with a pre-established offer. Thus the troupe leaves empty handed but having had a decent weekend holiday in Les Grandes Laques.

House Viduggla
  • Pays Sigrid Sterke-enn 1,500 regals.
  • Additionally, House Viduggla invests in a large expedition to traverse the Mirnoye Maelstrom on November the 24th (the only day of the year the Maelstrom stops raging) to visit the Island of Mirnoye. With a 30,000 regal investment, Garth Viduggla leads Ardige Viduggla, Tolstan de Florian, Markus Haagenvig, Jarlaf Hafrfjellenfjord, Zsazsa Kostmaka, Claire d'Anjou, Gwenyth Zylmoira, Coren Isil and Kuzma Ustinra, Garth instructs Tolstan to captain the group in their approach to Mirnoye. The group manages to approach Mirnoye and is greeted with large monolith statues, steles with faces atop them. Everything appeared peaceful for now but the people aboard the ship could tell there was a strange atmosphere. Attempts are made to approach a number of the cities for accurate sketches but each time the group comes close to being in range to make out the building shapes, the faces on the statues light up and Tolstan turns the ship away. What they could make out however was just how geometric and rectangular everything is, with strange blue light emanating from the windows. The group is unable to find any wildlife or flora from afar, noting only a blue-ish hued grass. The Island is practically devoid of any other plants, trees or wildlife. No animals. Nothing, but gray rock and dark blue hued grass. They are able to however make contact with some of the Mirnoye people as they approach one of the shorelines without a city, soldiers whose skin is pale and gray wish with eyes that glow blue. Their skin is covered in glowing blue lines and they ride atop a stone horse-like construct which is held together with glowing white lines like strings wrapped around rocks. When communication is attempted, they respond in a language that is entirely not Vladno and isn't recognised by the others who are present in the party. When offerings to them are provided, they in fact actually appear insulted and the Mironoye pillars behind them activate as if readying to fire. The group then decides to leave and Garth and the group are unable to discover any dragon related points of interest as they make a quick escape. No smithing or metallurgy is picked up either due to their quick departure. No culture research could be done as they couldnt get close enough to any city and naturally, entry into Mirnoye Ablast is denied. On their way out aboard Tolstan de Florian's ship, the face statue's mouths open and lightning zaps it in half in a violent explosion, sinking it. Thankfully, the group is luckily picked up by a group of fishermen from Nordskag and sent back to Regalia, wet and cold. What they did happen to have with them from their trip was a few gray blue glowing rocks that they had snatched as souvenirs and some of them were sold for 20,000 regals which goes back into the Viduggla coffers. The rest of the rocks are kept.

Markus Haagenvig
Markus stood above the ship as the winter waves struck and crackled below the hull of the mighty vessel. The Great Oak's mind was still processing all the events that transpired in those short few hours. Those lights that they saw, they were not candle light. They came from no fire that an Ailor could produce. "Perhaps Dragon Magic" The knight said out loud, as he was lost in his thoughts. Markus stepped over to the edge of the ship railing and he continued on. "Those statues, wonder if they were Kings or Gods.. Maybe both. Those soldiers though.. They weren't Ailor. Akin to a monster out of a fairy tale." A mental light bulb clicked in his head as he turned around, "Hey Garth-" Was all the Knight could get out before the flash of light.

When Markus woke up next. He was cold, deep under the oceans current. The churning wreckage of the ship around him. He thanked whatever Gods were listening that he was still alive, and could swim. As his hands clawed through the icy depths of the sea, he moved over to a black figure near the surface, as he went to grasp at it. In attempt to perhaps save it, did he realize it was the charred body of a sailor. He panic, exhaling into the ocean as water flooded his lungs. Thankfully he managed to kick himself up to the surface as the smell of smoke and the sight of fire covered the surrounding. He first thoughts were not asking how or why, it was to move to the nearest piece of shipwreck that wasn't on fire. As he threw his torso over the wooden planks, Markus screamed out, "Garth! Tolstan, Jarlaf-- Fuck, anyone!!"

While she had come along in order to paint a picture of the city, the boat didn't quite get close to paint it in any incredible detail. She did make some sketches of the person, the city, and the statues, but all of her sketches were lost in the shipwreck. Nevertheless, Claire returned to Regalia with plenty of inspiration and got to painting from her memory. Of course, she found it hard to paint with all the new questions about that strange place swirling around in her mind, and this strange, unnatural place, would continue to dominate her thoughts for the coming days.
