Sayid, with all of his mornings exercises completed, proceeded a brisk jog in the general direction of the barracks. It was just beginning to reach the peak hours of the morning, and the weary denizens of Ashanna slowly began to withdrawal from their brightly colored homes, starting an early day. He had reached the city's center, banners of red, light blue, and gold hung, connecting the buildings. He halted his run after realizing a crier had began to set up post. He made his way over, only to garner disgusted looks from the majority of poverty stricken citizens, whom also gathered at the crier. "Damn knife ears" one of the men spoke, his words coming out sloppily "Yer fecking goddess back" said another, with the same amount of distaste. He ignored them, the typical racism of day didn't seem to bother the half elf anymore. He went and shoved past them with little regard, coming to the front, his eyes widened as the fate of Arizona Brag was provided to him by the crier. The goddess of his mother, and the rest of the elves was real, and a sudden scant of anxiety struck him. "Of course it was on the day of my resignation." He thought annoyed He would leave for Regalia the day after next. A cute little introduction for a new character :D
