- Ailor are masters of languages, which is expected given their habit to culturally divides. Because so many of their languages are inter-connected, various words become more obviously related, and they also take more effort to learn other languages. If someone insults an Ailor, even in a language they do not speak, the Ailor would know, as they know most curse words or words by which to speak ill of others in all languages.
- Ailor are the masters of the Regalian Empire, and while it has equality between all peoples and heritages, Ailor are just by virtue of being Ailor considered preferential for most government positions and judicial situations. Where possible to do with the Nobility, with Government, or with Palace decisions, Ailor will be treated preferentially over other peoples, even if their qualifications might be lesser than the other options.
- Ailor when using Syncretism can worship up to 3 Gods of their sub-dominant Religion, instead of just 1 or 2. Additionally, when Syncretizing, they gain the Mechanic of the sub-dominant Religion (except for Evolism, where only one of the Mechanics can be chosen). If your Character does not Syncretize, they gain +1 Attack Stat (Breaking Cap up to 11) against Characters that have Syncretized their mono-faith.
- Languages: common, Letz, Canta
Tsuki grew up in Tirgunn in a small village nestled on the outer edges of one of the forests. Her father studied as, trained, and eventually hunted as a lothar for his earlier years in life before retiring after he met her mother. Tsuki's birth was difficult and left her mother sterile; she is the only child to the couple and was very sickly for a majority of her childhood. Despite this, her parents were kind, gentle, even though there was no way she'd be able to take over the farm in their steed.
Her father shielded her from his past and her heritage as a sarnan. He wanted his daughter to grow up without hate in her heart and make her own decisions; ideally, he wished for her to live a peaceful, comfortable life. On her better days, Tsuki's mother would take her out to the meadow and tell her about the animals there; if they were lucky, she'd be able to spot them. Her favorite were the fresh fawn that came with summer or the beautiful mourning doves.
When a strange woman moved in, the town was ready to welcome her. Tsuki's father, trained in the hunt of vampires, was the first to notice, but by time he did he was too late; living on the edge of town had managed to save them for some time but it meant that, by time he visited the market for supply, the problem was already far beyond his control. The vampire had already spread her sickness to the village; those who were not killed were turned. A coven had formed in the span of only a week... and when the head vampire saw him, she followed him back to his home for revenge.
Tsuki was woken in the night, yanked out of her bed, and pulled into her parents room. A hostage. Her father tried to come to her defense and was swiftly cut down, her mother following suit. The vampire then fed from Tsuki, leaving her barely concious and alive... an act of cruelty as the sanguine set her house ablaze, leaving her inside to burn.
Perhaps the fates smiled on her when a passing merchant stumbled upon the blaze and found Tsuki. But not without a price; her body was badly burned; arms and torso, with only her face and lower body being spared. The merchant was kind and took her in, teaching her how to fend for herself, how to hunt, how to earn money and even took her back with him to his home in Cantalula, where she learned to play music and studied in magics. For her 16th birthday he offered her a gift; an all white ocarina, carved from a stone from her families farm.
Tsuki learned how to play that with a feverish frenzy and its now her main tool for magic casting: she is a bard and a lyre mage through and through, using her songs to bring on an early spring to those who hear it and fill them with the same peace she felt all those years ago in the meadow with her mother.
She wanders now, searching for a place she can call her home, using her music to fund her way.
