Wouldn't lesser demons be common demons that possess people? Not many of them would cause flight, the ability to destroy places and the ability to raise up Ghasts and Blazes, along with hoardes of undead. Pretty sure that only comes with very very powerful demonic possession.

I dunno what happens if you said no, but I feel like the Sign behind the scarecrow, the hints from staff, the prophet all mean something demon-y. Or vampire-y.
