If the Staff of Massive Craft were to make Another RP Server in a Different Setting, What Would you Prefer it to be and Why?

The heading says it all! So if the talented staff of Massivecraft were to create a new server, where would you want it to be set and why? Express your opinion in the comments
I personally would prefer one set in the Wild West/Civil War Era or in Colonial America. Those settings seem to be so rich and full of adventure and I think it would be a blast to RP in one of those settings. What about you?

Everyone has the right to their opinion so please no flaming or fighting over who's idea is better. Try to keep things civilized!

I would like to see a 1600 AD London set. This also would include having the London Fire.
There would be some supernatural aspects to it. Murder. Mystery.
All of that fun stuff :)

Though this isn't exactly a different setting, I'd like to see Aloria before the first Void Invasion when the Seraph were still alive.

I'd like to see Aloria about 500-1,000 years in the future, during an industrial revolution in a world that also has magic. Will mysticism meld with science? Or will one destroy the other? What new creatures, cultures, legends, magics, and technology would we see in such a world?

Exactly what I thought. I can imagine it being a lot like Dishonored, a fantasy world where technology and magic exists, and I really love the setting there.

Steam-punk Aloria :O

Yes. Must.

Where the Dwarven Empire has begun. Totally. Do it. Now. Please. Now. Now!!!

I like the idea of a sci-fi universe. In fact, the staff have discussed it before and have shown interest in making it a reality in the future. I would love to see what they do, and what alien planets we can explore. Maybe they could have custom biomes and structures and be infinite like vanilla Minecraft. I would also like to see the races and Massive Mobs. Whenever this happens, I am prepared to explore these new worlds.

I want the Industrial age, or maybe the Global Warming age (Right now) Global Warming age could have some wars and action.

Ahahah, this was already sort of conceptualized and the combination of mistreatment of mages along with capitalism was a divine thing indeed...

While it would be next to impossible to actually accomplish, I would absolutely love to see a modern day Aloria with magic also. A lot could happen in the time that passes by, like maybe the Elves re-take Aloria and begin to rule it. Maybe entire species go extinct or endangered, like Ur's and Tigrans. What interests me the most however is a Alorian version of World war 1 and 2, partly because, well, what race would do what in both cases? Who would be the good and the bad guys? Also because quite simply, elven archmages driving tanks sounds like a recipe for absolute domination in a battle, not to mention a massivecraftian definition of "Bad***".

I would like to see...(and I second the thoughts that the staff have looked into it, but I do wonder how recent that is and whether anything further then "we want to do it" has been said) a futuristic space/sci-fi server/server set. And I rather hope I can get into the staff in charge of making it when they do, I had a random brainstorm a while back that came up with a dozen awesome ideas for all aspects of such a server, from central hub to basic lore...with consideration taken for pre-existing plugins and new textures...but yes, that would be awesome.
Although I had a very different idea with regard to magic...as in, no magic, yes to other interesting things...

With as many laws and demand for respect towards nobles in Regalia... Maybe a dock town where people are free to do what they want (to an extent, I'm not saying make it punishment free for crimes, just so you can breath in the same place as others with out being accused of this and that.... ) and everyone has a relatively clean slate. No one has higher status than anyone else. That way it can't be held over people's head that they're lower than everyone else. I think something like this would be great so Naga, Maiar, and other "lower" races can have a place to RP with out having to have a master.
I realize that a place like this could cause a lot of trouble, but if worst comes to worst the general RP rules are set already. As for that, I'm sure that there will be the few people who enjoy playing the villains, or the murderous bandit, and I think this would give them an opportunity as well to have a little freedom to RP with out being told they have no way to escape because guards are everywhere and people team up on them.
Outside of RP reasons, I love the way the staff builds more sound buildings, and I could only imagine what they'd be able to do with a place that's sort of just floating off in the sea. The rickety wooden foundations, ladders leading who knows where. It could also decrease the urgency of people wanting to buy homes in Regalia. All. The. Time. And give them somewhere else to dwell outside of faction "safety" an things like that. I'd like to see more ships cerated too~ Maybe like a larger Pirate's ship that's docked near the floating place, and those from the crew sort of watch over and protect the town from outside forces. (Could open up a lot of RP jobs~).

Anyway, that's my 3cents. I know there will be some who don't agree, and that's fine! I just wanted to share my thoughts. I've been thinking a lot about this topic as of late, and am glad someone brought it up!

A Modern-Day ERA of Aloria.

Or a setting like Kill la Kill.

I vote for piracy. This would be relatively easy to create, due to much of the settings already being in place (such as Daendroc, which is a very West-Indies-Jungle type place). The pirate age was a very rich and diverse age that I feel would be very well represented by an RP community. Plus, who doesn't like pirate speech? Or sailing the seas in search of gold?

Personally, I love history. Anytime period I would be all for. Most themes I am up for especially sci-fi. But after spending so much time looking at items from this time period, I would love something placed in a time like the American Civil War or a sci-fi time period yet as I said, anything and everything I am interested it.

I would like to see modern with only modern houses allowed. It would give a architect boost and money for good architects

I have a variety of desired settings in mind
  • Futuristic fantasy (like RWBY)
  • Steampunk
  • Renaissance
  • Victorian
  • Ancient Japan (@suzzie2 just so Phon could be a foreigner)
  • That era where there's overgrown giant mystical ruins everywhere. Probably post-apocalypse
  • Stereotypical RPG where there's huge castles and scary monsters
  • COWBOYS

  • Something like Legend of Korra would be nice. 1920's-like setting yet we still have mages and all the different races.
  • Another thing I had in mind was sort of like a flooded version of the world. Everyone who's not a Maiar needs to go by boat or by flying.
  • A post-void invasion Regalia/Aloria would be amazing too.
  • Space.
  • ANARCHY
  • An Aloria where the seraph didn't die, and instead live with us?

I would like something futuristic or sci-fi, with robots, unique structures, and advanced technology.

Id like to see the future when we can create descendants of out characters.

I would like to see a GunGale Online/Phantom Bullet/ Sword Art Online 2 world, where we roleplay as people playing the VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game.) known as GunGale Online. Meaning that you would create a character who plays as a character in the game, but you would roleplay as the character your character created. I don't know if that clarified what I meant, or made it worse. This concept could be used for many games, however I'm quite a fan of the GGO world in SAO 2. Also, current Massivecraft is medieval, so why should there be a second medieval one? If this could happen, which I really hope it would but don't believe it could, words would not be able to describe my sheer overwhelming joy. My family might send me to an insane asylum because I wouldn't stop laughing and crying with happiness.

The Seraph are us. Charles Darwin said so.
