What Happened In Your First 10 Minutes Of Joining Massivecraft?

Referred by: Google search for "Roleplay Minecraft Servers", after the sad demise of the Yogscast RPG Server (Love live the skylords of Lighthaven!)
  • Started in the old spawn, right in the middle of Silveredge city.
  • Upon logging in, I started looking for a bow and arrows (first thing I always look for when starting on a new server)
  • I purchased a good deal of equipment (leather&chain armor, a bow, iron sword, some rations) from Igel_son's horribly corrupt spawn shop, and already knowing my character was a ranger, bolted from the city.
  • Made my way onto the Magenta Road, where a guy in iron rushed me, demanding all my stuff.
  • I shot 4 arrows at him (he just ran at me in a straight line, bless him) and killed him. Took his items, and founded a small cave near the border of SilverEdge and Wilderness, just off the Magenta roads.
  • Began hunting bandits (ie people who spawncamped the border, and the roads in general). For like 2 months irl I just hunted bandits, and was able to think a bit about what sort of character I was making. Some early roleplay with Prestatamore and Ninjabaver got me into the flow of things, and the rest, as they say, is a long and horribly complicated history.

  • Went up the staircase slowly, fearing falling down.
  • Went to the info hub.
  • Spawned in what I think was Regalia.
  • Saw a lot of people, and got scared of disrupting RP and getting jailed.
  • Logged off.
Joined again last December.
  • Found the server again.
  • Mustered my courage and decided to try it without fear.
  • Found the NPC quests.
  • Started them and got lost.
  • Died of hunger x3(this isn't a cute face).
  • Rage quit.

• walked up the staircase and went into SilverEdge (which I miss greatly).
•instantly got invited to Morgannwg and became a farmer.
•made a little farm behind my house, and put a little wall around it.
•got raided by Mordor and was killed by @togal300 while trying to defend myself with nothing but a diamond hoe.
•hid inside and talked to Togal until they all left.

  • Logged on, immediately joined a faction ( I can't remember what the faction was called, but it had an allied faction that functioned entirelly as a huge wall next to it, and a huge modified jungle on the other side, which I was told off for stealing spider webs from.)
  • Raged a little bit because the faction didn't have any inactively locked chests that I could steal from
  • Heard the word 'Brony' in alliance chat
  • Asked what it meant
  • Said that bronies were gay in alliance chat, said 'whatever' to the mod (I think) who told me off (Yes, I was a complete idiot then.)
  • Got bored and left the server for 8 or so months because I got bored.

Right. I don't recall exactly what happened as it was almost two years ago. But I do remember this:

  • Got kidnapped by some vampire, omnomed on, then proceeded with becoming an actual God(criiinge, i was eve from adam and eve, from the bible, omg), though I let the vampire decapitate my head to be nice.
  • I've never told anyone this, not even the awesome guy himself(who is like one of my closest friends on the server aahah), but I was banned by @BigBellyBuddah, and I know for a fact he won't remember this. However, he did let me off(barely, i have to admit) and said he had misjudged or something, so yeah.
He's probably very, very confused right now.

  • Freaked out because along and confused (y u do dis Rhea).
  • Managed to find my way to the (old) Tavern.
  • Partied with @Smb67 and Rycipoo, constantly asking about how to chat.
  • Joined faction with @TazeHD, and pretty much explored everything else with small comments of "Pretty" and "omigosh fabuluuus", all whilst regretting my decision of Elf-ness and wishing for vampiness. Oh, and sister stuffles with Rhea. XD
Funfufunfunfunfunfunfun. It's weird to see how much people have come. ;'D

Reference: When my friends private server "imploded" cuz his pc kinda...well..."poofed" then I decided to see what minecraft was like with people I didn't know. Found MassiveCraft and said: meh, why not.

  • Started out in Daendroc for some reason, ran off, built myself a little house and died of hunger.
  • Ran back to my little house, did some more work, died of hunger again.
  • Ran back to my slightly bigger house and decided that I was hungry. But when you have a brown mushroom...There is NEVER a red one in sight...died of hunger again.
  • Ran back and was met by a random player ransacking my house, got killed and then built a tree-house in the opposite direction.
  • Lived there for 2 days then joined Byzanthium.
The rest...is history...

I don't know why I haven't told you before now, ahahah. I do remember you leaving and people worshipping you and stuff.
But there it is, if you had not have decided to unban me, I wouldn't be on Massive and we would have never properly met and become friends. I wouldn't have met @Anette1play either.

Referred by: One of the big Minecraft server lists, either I was deliberately looking for a fantasy/RP server or it was because Massive was one of the top servers so I thought why not.
  • Explored the staircase/captcha world a bit, jumping around everywhere eheh. I was also reading some book about Ceardia and some dark force or something and it sounded interesting.
  • Went to the hub and started reading all the rules and stuff, too much to take in so decided to just remember the gist of it and learn stuff as I go.
  • Went to Regalia, looked around the main street for a bit.
  • Hopped onto a boat, got very confused about claimed land.
  • Found the dynmap, looked for a location to stay.
  • Found some food and ran waaay the heck to somewhere far from spawn, dug a hole, and made myself at home.

First thing i did when i joined
Got an instant invite into Mordor and was forced into a coal mine and continued to mine for a week by Valyria, Morgannwg (@Tokugawryuu) and Auxillian, Palladin, Revolution, Argonia, Saun, and Alamut... Got mad and attacked almost all the factions that bullied me :(

  • Ran out of silveredge, attacked by skeleton, it killed Rooseus and left me low on health so i then later died from hunger.
  • We "Rage" quit
  • Find out a week later that Rooseus has rejoined with a few other common friends and have been invited to Dranah.
  • Rejoined and joined Dranah

  • Rooseus not content with the faction progress and location
  • Moved Algaron to new location and thought of adding faction lore as vampire hunters, lore was never fully completed but Algaron went vampire hunting.
  • Fought LuminI
  • Found Saintsdemon in a small hut outside Algaron territory
  • Grew fat and lazy while SaintsDemon built the city and Rooseus took care of recruitment, worked mostly in the background supporting Rooseus and SaintsDemon and making sure the faction stayed on it's path.
  • Fought Alamut
  • Fought Valyria
  • Semi-inactive during Rooseus ban
  • Rooseus returns, more active, starts new crusades, more recruiting
  • Fought Magnanimus
  • Realised pvp has evolved into whoever has the most enchants, pots and axes wins.

After a long time, digging out of some rubble, joined Iron Legion, died, and became Alfred, I have history with this amazing server. I hope that all the newbies get to see the awe of the world, and make it jaw dropping with their hidden potential, and become great protagonists and antagonists, great heroes and villains, fighting for a belief, revenge, justice, love, psychotic tendencies, or other reasons.   • Jumped off of the top of the incomplete FatherTree in the center or Hagakure, the old capitol of Hisoka (This was before Hisoka split into the Hisokan Collective)

  • Joined the forums (I think. Don't quote me on this one.)
  • Found out @Posidem was basically the head honcho of magic at the time and staff (Hence why he's my role model.)
  • Proceeded to derp around, embarrassing my future self.
And during all of that, I died. 'Cause it rained. A lot.

  • Spent the rest of my time kissing Rose's sorry butt until she taught me how to roleplay well.

  • Eventually came back to Regalia and referred the server to around 5-7 friends
  • Journeyed through Daendroc and Ithania, changing races, setting up camps, stuff like that
  • Pooled together 200 silver and made a faction
  • Settled in an Ithanian ocean and built a pirate ship, claimed it
(this was more like my first week but lel.)
