I have over the course of a year or so, amassed over 93,000+ regals (currently stored in my faction bank account "Stonecutters") through my shop and managed to work my way up to the /money top 4 page (Woo-hoo!).

To what end though? What purpose does the money serve if you're self sufficient. I have been using giant farms, my own dark rooms, have tons of enchanted books, and do my own mining (currently ranked #18 on the server), etc.

This isn't a rant or complaint, I just really don't know what purpose all this money I have serves and am wondering if others can help me understand good ways to use it because as of right now, I'm just amassing regals. Aside from hiring builders, paying faction taxes, and the new regal requirement for repairs, what do you spend your money on?

Please, give me some ideas of how you'd spend money if you had it to blow.

Art, i but art all the time keeping me balanced at around 10k, also lore items

Art, all the art.

Pretty much all the money I spend is on art and lore items.

What do you mean when you say, "art"? You mean paintings....that you can just make? Have I missed an entire aspect of Massivecraft? haha Can people make custom artwork somehow? I'm not big into lore items...or collectibles. I did breakdown the other day and spend 1500r on a double chest of unique player heads in case I ever decide to setup an arena or something, I can line the walls with their faces. haha

Thanks OldManj98 - but I think I'll just keep my faction. I do, however, think that I want to relocate somewhere. I really want to find a mountain face to carve out a dwarven entrance into and then hollow it out to make an underground dwarven empire. That's the dream...but alas, I am virtually a 1 person faction.

Art refers to drawings, music, animations, etc that people do on the forums. If you don't roleplay there probably won't be a great appeal though. We typically like having art of our characters.

Well, darn. I like to RP in game, but not in the forums, so you're right, that doesn't have a lot of appeal to me. Although, it would be cool to have a forum portrait for a dwarf of nobility that found joy in being a miner....with sweat dripping from his forehead, rock debris/powder on his face and in his beard with streaks of sweat running down through his soot covered face, and holding an enchanted pick on his shoulder on one side and a valuable glistening ore on the other. Would be cool too if the enchanted pick had enchanted symbols glowing on it. I have a pick that I used to level a mountain overnight. (True story) I added lore to it and called it "Mountain Slayer". That would be an awesome portrait...especially since the faction is called "Stonecutters" and was originally meant to be a Dwarven faction.

Do people do stuff like that and what do they charge? I am NOT an artist. haha

I don't roleplay on the forums but I love having art of my character. It's nice to be able to link players to a forum page and say, "See this is what my character looks like". Try looking in the "MassiveCraft Marketplace" section of the forums. There are quite a few art shops. Pricing and style completely depends on the artist.

Took your advice and posted an art request...time to see how it goes! :) Thanks for the tip N'omiel!

Regals:
I usually spend it on my region rent. I also purchase lore items time to time, as well as art from others.

U.S Dollars:

MassiveCraft premium, Xbox live, Xbox game currencies (lol im so bad), et cetera.

Oh, we were to say what we buy. I'm fucking ashamed that I didn't realise that.

MassiveCraft Regals:
I usually spend it on Skins, Faction Tax and Regalian homes that have months in Advance pay since I often forget about them.

Real life Money (£):
Alcohol, Food, Computer parts, clothing, useless shit I compulse buy, Bicycles, Punching Bags (Breaking them is too often.), First aid equipment (I often get fucked up a lot and not by the alcohol.) And also some Recreational Substances.

I generally spend money on collection items. I don't really need any supplies, but collectible lore items are something I love. I'm pretty sure I have the only complete set of Eldrich Armor & Weapons on the server (all 4 armor pieces, as well as the Bow, Sword, and Axe).

Hire some builders, yo.

I spend all of my disposable income on sexy sexy weapons and armor sets. I have a little gallery where I display them all.

If you don't already, you could start paying for premium with regals. The last I was aware, the cost was 3k per month, but that was a few months ago.
