Walpurgisnacht: Creeds one through three

It was my plan to publish an address on the first or second day of Walpurgisnacht. However, the shop where I get my writing parchment ran out a few days ago and the new shipment didn't arrive until yesterday.

To some you might be wondering what Walpurgisnacht is and what's it about. Walpurgisnacht (pronounced val-purgis-naackt), is the celebration of the ten Creeds, starting from April the twentieth and ending on April the thirtieth. Many of our fabulous Reverends have taken upon themselves to hold sermons in the Salvation Church. But no doubt many of you, due to the trials of events both old and new, do not have the opportunity to attend some of these services. Thus I decided to take time to write this, so that others may learn more about the creeds from the hand of a Reverend.
I

The First Creed reveals the roles of the trinity of divinity and the core principles of Unionism such as the afterlife, the Great Way, and the Spirit. It also reveals a land where there is no want, no hunger, no sadness and no fear; where wickedness and every filthy thing are done away with. This is what we strive for as Unionists in moving the Great Way.

The Spirit chose Theomar the First as His Holy prophet. The Spirit desires to show us the Great Way so that we may be happy and He has chosen a prophet to bring His word. And who could have been a better servant than the ruler of a growing empire?

When Ailor-kind broke free from their oppressors, the Spirit decided to choose our race as His chosen race in leading all the other races in moving the Great Way. This is perhaps because Ailor-kind are the most diverse and tend to be the most devout and faithful.

II

The Second Creed illustrates that each member of Humanum has a mission, a purpose, in life to fulfill. It also tells of the importance in doing good, growing the Empire, praying, and submitting to those of higher authority. This revelation is crucial because without doing these things, selfishness, decay, despair, and chaos prevail.

III

To live a good life we must be good Unionists. But the Emperor should not be the only example of a good Unionist. Besides, the calling of an Emperor is very different than that of a soldier, a farmer, or a merchant. Thus the Third Creed reveals the importance of Herons and Saints, those who also serve as examples of good Unionists. In addition to revealing these, the Third Creed also reveals that we must respect and revere them. This is important because if we do not, we'll soon forget them and stumble into transgression.

Conclusion

I hope that these help you understand the first three Creeds. There will be another address on the next three Creeds in a couple of days. If you have questions, please send me a letter.

I testify that Theomar the First had seen the Spirit and that the Spirit revealed the Great Way, which Way will bring us to Paradise, and if we follow our calling and repect the Saints, Herons, the Emperor, and the Spirit, we will find salvation.

Oratario Paean.
