Below is the proposal for the new voting rewards, minus the lore. Please look them over and let me know what you think. Essentials is used for many of these items.

Money (Each amount is it's own voting tier) 10%, 5%, 3%, 1%, 0.7%, 0.29%, 0.01% (20% Total chance of getting money)

Great Idea, I really like it; especially the Race Weapons. The lower chances for things is also great, it makes the good stuff really rare, making it possible to be an antique trader or collector

I don't have any major objection to making these items more rare, just want to confirm that people think these items should have a chance of obtaining them less than the current 1/1000.

This was a question in the staff as well, whether to have 50s or 100s, but with the 1/10.000 chance of getting it, we thought it might get more people to vote with the higher number. Please, people chime in on this, as the decision could go either way.

Very true, but there is a lot of items and I think there needs to be more lesser quality items to make sure people don't get loaded with good gear. But as you said, very low chance so I guess you don't have to.

Either way, I just like the voting system in general. It is a great way of getting people engaged in the game. Wonder if we'll be able to earn better reward percentages by being premium and having helped support the server? I really don't need food as a maiar, or any of the hats...

Yeah, the food rewards are the "low tier" rewards. We chose that because it is something that new players would still find useful. Compared to the previous rewards the chance of getting food is lower and the chance of getting silver is higher.

I like your idea of using a reward to trigger a quest, but it takes a fair amount of time to make an interesting quest, and we don't have the quests made yet, so it would need to be in the next iteration. Maybe slowly replace the top tier items with a quest item that starts a quest whose reward is the top tier item. What do people think of this idea?

That sounds good, it would stop people logging on, voting, getting lots of silver, logging off.
