• How would your character respond to experiencing Fear?
  • Vladislav would attempt to remain stern in the face of fear, however, this wouldn’t last long as his posture would crumble and tremble. At this point, he’d resort to fleeing and allowing his goons to deal with the issue at hand.
• How would your character respond to experiencing Stress?
  • When stressed, the Reverend can be often seen arguing with himself in his natural tongue while pacing back and forth. He usually becomes much more aggressive in this state, there are very few acceptions.
• How would your character express feeling Happy?
  • He becomes much more sociable and excited, often treating his goons to all sorts of treats, such as drink or food at the local Tavern. He even engages in dance with whoever is willing at times.
• How does your character view Law and Authorities?
  • Absolutely necessary, without the law, there would be only chaos, and chaos brings Heresy. Without authority then society would not be able to function.
• How does your character feel about Races other than their own?
  • Naturally, he believes his own race superior to others. However, he is much more accepting of other races should they take the time to prove themselves to him, or engage with him in a friendly manner, regularly.
• How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths?
  • The Faith supports society, and society returns the gesture. Vladislav believes it paramount to convert every single man, woman and child to the Unionist Faith, otherwise the corruption of other Religions will destroy the world.
• How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world?
  • Vladislav is extremely interested in the Arcane and Magical. He takes great interest in Demonology specifically. Perhaps some could say he’s even obsessed with it.
• How does your character feel towards their family?
  • Being a Reverend, Vladislav has no children or wife of his own. He respects his only brother and retains a close bond with him. Both of Vladislav’s parents died of a common sickness many years ago and unfortunately lacks the ability to speak with the dead.
• What is your character's biggest insecurity?
  • Vladislav feels exposed and paranoid when alone as if someone is always plotting to kill him. Therefore is almost always seen surrounded by a group of bodyguards.
• What is your character the most proud of about themselves?
  • He prides himself on his fairly large and loyal following. Which he uses for many things, including intimidation of the other reverends when necessary.
• What motivates your character to move forward and better their life?
  • The Reverend lusts for power in any form, he also strives to one day make contact with the Demon world, and perhaps gain knowledge and gifts from it.
• What is your character's biggest fear?
  • Vladislav is terrified of betrayal from his own followers and is very selective of which ones he allows close to himself.

Life Story (Required)

• Vladislav was born to two loving parents in the year 252AC somewhere in the Etosil Isles. He spent the next ten years in his families bakery, eventually being able to help his parents with their workload from the age of seven. Learning how to put the dough in an oven, wait, and then take it out. He spent the little free time he had pickpocketing with a group of boys his age, earning a little extra coin on the side for his family.
• Aware that their small bakery was failing, Vladislav was sent to an Etosian Seminary at the age of ten, his parents hoping he'd find a better quality of life there than with them.
• While at the seminary, Vladislav learned about the many living Herons and learned of the different Sacraments, the wailers shrieking during the Sacrament of Slumber was always one that made him uneasy.
• Being a rather superstitious person, Vladislav also found himself constantly trying to keep the many old candles lit in Church.
• Upon graduating from the Etosian Seminary, Vladislav found himself touring small villages offering sermons.
• His touring eventually led him to the military where he’d become a ‘Battle Priest’ of sorts. Screaming Holy Text at his enemies as he bludgeoned them to death. While serving in the military, Vladislav also became very proficient in both mid-battle command and general warfare tactics. However, his military service also brought him many wounds, the severity of these would slowly increase over time eventually leading to the loss of his left eye.
• Upon the merging of Etosian Unionism into the Sancella, Vladislav became a member of the Synod. A select few Reverends did eventually learn to live with his presence. However, this can't be said for all of his fellow Reverends.
• In recent years, Vladislav has studied texts regarding Demons, Demonic Possession and Magical Artifacts, which sparked his unhealthy obsession with them. His preaching also rallied people to his side. These individuals now act as Vladislavs personal security force in the Holy City of Regalia. This is mainly due to the fact that his beliefs and Sect glorify a strong militant presence of the Faith, encouraging many violent people to follow him if it means good brawls and free food. Much to the distaste of some individuals, especially the other Reverends. With the recent appearance of more Etosian Reverends in the Synod, Vladislavs sect has merged into theirs. He has also recently been voted in as Sword's Legatus and is in charge of the Synods military and defense.
