        • Kathar is capable of producing a shift state in which they create an alternative Nelfin appearance for themselves, where they can appear like any Nelfin race or sub-race, change gender, or change their height and Body Shape freely. This template can be changed once a week, and Physical Stats remain unchanged. Detection Mechanics only work on the guise if the Detector has at least 10 Perception Training Proficiency Points, allowing them to recognize the original, but not that the original is disguised. These changes cannot obscure certain visual tells from Afflictions (Such as Vampirism and Werebeasts).
        • Kathar is capable of changing the appearance of another person at will, as long as they are within 3 blocks distance, and not actively engaged in combat. For as long as the Kathar remains within 3 blocks distance, the person’s appearance modification remains intact. If they are touched by anyone other than the Kathar, or engage in conflict, the appearance change is removed. This change can include but is not limited to race, gender, hair, facial shape, body build & height, but does not transfer Racial Abilities or Traits aside from the physical default state, and can hide visual features from Afflictions.

        • The Kathar’s body turns into a lithe rich purple-violet cosmic silhouette that appears like the dark and near-empty night sky. Whether inside or outside of this state, the Kathar can summon an extra set of functional arms directly beneath their normal arms. These arms operate exactly the same as their normal arms, and can be sacraficed to summon four Void Tendrils from the Kathar's back. These tendrils operate at 25% of the user's Proficieencies, rounded down, but are prehensile, and can extend up to 1.5 times the length of their normal arms. At any point, the Kathar can speak with their mouth closed.

    • Backstory
      • Childhood
        • Vestele was born within the Dread Isles, having two other sisters and one brother, being the middle child.
        • Her parents weren't much around in her childhood, therefore, her brother (the oldest) had to watch over them.
        • Education was rather decent, though money was tight in the household.
        • She started to learn responsibility at a young age, cleaning the dishes, doing most of the house chores as her siblings got food, etc.
        • Her relationship with her siblings were decent, she tried to keep out of the way but there was a decent bonding between the siblings. She was rather quiet with them, no paticular reason, she simply didn't want to be a bother was all.
        • Despite the rough times, she managed to start learning Void Ritualism through her oldest brother as well.
        • Adding on, almost nearing her teenage years, her sisters started to help her with her Mageblooded spells, thankfully one of her sisters was an Darkness and Arcane user, making it easy on Vestele on learning.
      • Adolescence
        • Continued her practice with Void Ritualism and her Spells.
        • With educational purposes, started learning some things within Alchemy Sciences from a friend.
        • For some defense mechanisms, both of her sisters helped teach her some techniques in unarmed combat.
        • Unfortunately, her siblings started to argue with one another when things got harder, usually arguing on how one another couldn't do something right.
        • Just for the arguments, Vestele started to sneak out of the house more during the night or day time to hide away into woods near the house.
        • Nearing her later teen years, her brother decided Vestele was becoming the maturity state to the point he could do the Ritual for the Sires, and so he did. She chose the Sire of Secrets, seeing as it had fit her personality more. He mixed his blood and ink together to tattoo the Sire of her choice onto her.
      • Early Adulhood
        • Started to master the abilities with Void Ritualism.
        • Decided to leave the house to go onto a walk away from the argumentative household, only to be snuck up from behind and kidnapped by an unknown Shenath.
        • Soon woke up in a darkened room, chained to the wall, not knowing what she had done to deserve this nor was she knowledgeable of why she was there.
        • Without knowing much, she was stuck in the room for days on end, barely being fed.
        • By the conditions she was in, never thinking this would ever happen to her, the hopeful side of possibly escaping one way or another vanished within her. Vestele thought she was going to die in that room
        • As time went on, the Shenath who had taken her in the first place moved in, unchained her, and escorted her elsewhere into a much smaller room, almost like a hallway to release her there. At the end also being an entrance out.
        • Vestele took this as a chance to escape the Void ridden dream she thought she was in, moving for what she thought was an exit, but instead, was an arena of sorts.
        • Many others were sat in the seats, cheering all while another Shenath like man came from the other end of the arena.
        • The two ended up having a battle to the death to put it short, unarmed combat to be specific thankfully, Vestele using her tactics to win the fight out of mere luck.
        • Afterwards, with the trauma of taking someone's life, she was forced to start training with an actual weapon to continue fighting on.
      • Adulthood
        • Her training with a weapon had begun, her picking a stave as her main.
        • She practiced everyday, or whenever she truly had the chance before another fight.
        • In the heat of battle, mainly from fear at this rate, she started to get a grip of her Mageblooded spells. Out of desperation, she usually tried using Umbra Bolts as to gain more practice with that too now that her sisters couldn't help her.
        • Won most of the fights she was in, the ones she hadn't won, usually they stopped before her death could arrive.
        • The lives she had taken, she was regretful at first, but knowing it was going to be her if not them, that changed her point of view in battle. She started to get adrenaline rushes of excitement within the battles rather than a fearful adrenaline, along with starting to grow cold to hide off the anxiety she could've showed.
        • The Kathar who had originally taken her wanted to make her seem more intimidating within battle, applying Void Mutations to try and help with that darkness aesthetic.
        • Eventually within her sixties to seventies, she was finally sold off to someone else who decided to buy her out from fighting.
        • The man, being a Saivale as well, helped get her back to good health with eating wise.
        • Their relationship at first started off as a Slave-Master dynamic at first, but her fulfilling her duties with whatever he asked of her were successful.
        • He didn't think the harshness against Vestele was needed, there on, changing the relationship more into equality type.
        • Now having the equality type relationship, he started giving her more free time to explore what she likes doing. She started to get into a bit of dancing to enhance the feel of it all while getting into the habit of sketching, usually wanting to try and draw the man though it was never good at first. Of course, practice was a thing at least.
        • Vestele soon fell in love with this man, finally knowing him more and lucky enough to find out an actual name from him, Aerthlin.
        • After her confession to him, they soon got engaged and married, next starting a family consisted of two kids.
      • Present
        • Unfortunately, worse came to worse, her children got into more gang related things and soon had their lives taken from when they went on a mission.
        • At first, she blamed the kids on their own consequences, but soon blamed herself and thought of herself as a bad mother for not finding out sooner. Either way, she grew depressed and upset with everything whether it was herself or something done from anyone, but grew more fearful of loosing her husband in these times.
        • Aerthlin didn't take the deaths well, let alone the gang related things the children were in, he himself becoming in Vestele's state somewhat. He still tried to keep himself from falling too low into depression.
        • Though alas, Aerthlin couldn't seem to get over the kids deaths whatsoever, not wanting to bare with the loss, only for him to poison himself weeks later from the recent deaths.
        • Vestele grew even more upset with herself, depressed and saddened completely but soon reminded herself about all the lives she took in the arena as to try and cope that way. The people she killed were random individuals, but in the end, when her death arrives, she goes and joins them. Therefore, she joins her family when it's her time, and the thought of her husband probably not wanting her in the state she was in, so she tried to keep her hope up and go back to her coldened state.
        • After all this happening, Vestele left the Dread Isles knowing she had nothing left there, moving onto Regalia to start a new life there where she had heard other Kathar settled down.
