He would often hunt with his father in the woods around his home. His mother would tell him of the mighty Unionist warriors that went to the School of Lancyon and the genius scholars who studied at the University. One night when he was sixteen killed a vampire using a glaive his father had bought a few weeks earlier. Thus, it was instilled within him a courage and a want to rid the world of these menace. So, he began training to enter the college of Lancyon. Lancyon Years (19-28): When Ulrich turned nineteen he had accumulated enough money to pay for schooling and Lancyon. The training was rigorous and sometimes seemed impossible, but through sheer willpower he was able to push through the pain. He began learning much about Unionism at the school from the Sancellan Unionists that would teach them the creeds as part of the schooling. After the six vigorous years of training and the heart-stopping oral exam, Ulrich was finally a Lancyon. He stayed for many years teaching others at the school as well as served as a townsguard in Basta. Sancella Years (29-37): After killing a couple of Vampires that were trying to harm people on Basta, Ulrich decided that he should study Unionism at the nearby university. The entrance exam was easy to him as he had already studied Unionism in some degree at the School of Lancyon. When he was accepted he spent the next 8 years studied day after day on the ins and outs of all Unionist text. When, he graduated he was sent to be a Curate in another small town in the Regalian Archipelago. Curate Years (38-48): In his new office Ulrich would go day by day writing new ceremonies and reading over the creeds for new insights, but it felt as if all the life was being sucked out of him; until one night when vampires attack the town. Through a long fight with the help of some ritualism he was able to beat the vampires using the same glaive that he had killed his first vampire with. Then, he decided as soon as he got a new Curate at the chapel he was going to leave for the holy city. Soon enough, the Synod collapsed. Recent(48-49): In returning to his parents home Ulrich found that the entire shop was ablaze and with his family inside. Searching around for a culprit he found a few vampires as well as a couple of bandits carrying oil flasks and lighters. Quickly killing them before returning to the burning rubble fighting the urge to rush inside and save whatever was left knowing he would most likely die. When he went inside he found what he knew he would but didn't want to accept: both is parents corpses long burnt from the fire.
@Follower Hey I changed a good bit. First, I changed his Unionist Sanktism to Rettism. I also removed his shatterology for sorcery ability having to age him up in the process. Finally, I changed bits of his backstory as well as adding some new stuff and changed his alignment to reflect changes. All changes made in BLUE

@War_pig I'm prepared to re-Approve this app, however if you wish you may delegate the extra point in Sorcery into another skill, as you gain no benefit from having 5 points as opposed to 4.
@birdsfoot violet Okay, I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I aged him up a little more where I could get a new ability and chose darkness sorcery. I added on a little in the recent backstory to show where he learned it as well as some backstory of where the sanguinology came from. If this is not okay Ill change it to how it was before. @birdsfoot violet With the new change making body shape 100% player choice, I am reducing the athletics and increasing sorcery, gaining Healing Grace. Changes are marked in red.
@birdsfoot violet I changed some stuff around again mainly getting rid of Athletics entirely and getting rid of Cast Away Impurity and replaced the extra points with Unarmed. Changes are marked in green.
@birdsfoot violet Hey sorry for the continuous changes, still trying to get him exactly how I want him. I aged him up a year, decreased unarmed, increased sorcery skill, lost Umbra Bolts, and gained Elemental Intercept and Orb. Marked in red
@War_pig I'm re-approving, this, however I do want to let you know this is the last time I'll be allowing the removal/shuffling of sorcery spells. It's fine if you put more points into them to learn new things as that's IC, but removing them/exchanging them so frequently does not have an RP equivalent.
@birdsfoot violet Hey I am shelving this character and am unsure how it works, I have sort of just run out of inspiration for him recently and wanted to get a break from him.
@War_pig I can reject the app if you so wish, but for just temporarily shelving a character, you do not have to do anything specific outside of just not playing the character.

@birdsfoot violet I am aware that you had said I wouldn't be able to move around any more sorcery spells; however, with the new lineage lore, Archan would be the best to fit Ulrich, but it would remove his sorcery. Would it be alright to do this or do I need to pick another bloodline?

@birdsfoot violet Sorry for the delay. I've changed a good bit around to accommodate for Sorcery and Ritualism being devoted to Union Blessings. I also removed unarmed because of how little I used it and moved it back to knowledge. All changes are marked in Blue
@War_pig Please tag me once you've made these changes: -For an extremely strict unionist and considering the ideology of Archan, it seems strange he would keep Vampires chained in his basement rather than just curing/killing them. -Please include the chosen Proficiency caps for your character.
