The young lady rushed up the stairs of the Ruyter estate after she heard of the news.
"An arranged marriage? To a Kade?!"
she'd say as she rushed into her room making her way over to the vanity. As she slid herself into her vanity chair, she placed her elbows upon the vanity desk and rested her head on her palms. Staring herself down in the mirror, she would continue to mutter to herself;
"What if he doesn't like me? What if I'm not what he hoped for?"
Viegifu suddenly stopped herself as she caught a glimpse of her wedding dress in the mirror. Her heart would drop and her stomach would turn as she thought about the wedding. Which was the day after tomorrow. It didn't leave her mind after she found out,
"A Kade? I mean, this isn't a bad thing. For spirit sake it's a blessing. But, this isn't how I imagined it to turn out."
Viegifu muttered to herself once more as she looked away from the dress. As she looked around at the various makeup containers and brushed on her vanity desk, she noticed a small piece of paper that wasn't there before. She eyed the small sheet of folded paper a bit before picking it up.
The front read; "From Jane"
Viegifu's eyes instantly lit up as she read the name. The only other Jane she knew was her eldest sister, whom she hasn't seen in ages. As she hurried to unfold the note, she caught another glimpse of the wedding dress. But this time, she gained a sense of confidence as she looked back to the note. After unfolding it completely, she'd read over the short message over and over again as her smile grew bigger.
"Dearest Vi,
I know for a fact that you'll make an amazing bride. Not matter what this marriage puts you through, I'm sure you can get through it. If you need reassurance, I shall be here for you. Spirit Bless.
Love,
Jane Ruyter"
Viegifu's heart felt like it was about to burst with joy, she'd set the note back down on her vanity before jumping up and going over to the dress. She'd graze her hand along the skirt portion, admiring the delicate design before exiting her room.
"Maybe I shouldn't be as worried."
Vi said to herself, before making her way out of the Ruyter estate and to the park. She needed some rest. After all, her wedding id two days away.
