The door slammed shut as a certain Archon entered their home in the Fairbanks Borough, with mixed emotions. She carried no weapons on her for they were stolen from her not too long ago, but thankfully she had a spare shield and longsword in her room. The fire in the living room did not crackle anymore, but wood still remained in it, waiting to be burned. The house was quiet, not filled with the sounds of screaming, crying, shouting, or anything else. It was silent.

Vivienne walked past the living room and the kitchen, making her way towards the staircase to head upstairs to the second floor of her home. She was slow getting up the stairs, but managed regardless of how weak and tired she was. She lacked energy and happiness. It was only tiredness and anger. When she got to the door of her bedroom, she paused, placing a hand on the door knob, but not turning it, yet. She drew in a deep breath, exhaling shortly after before entering her bedroom. Vivienne then came to another pause, staring at her reflection from the mirror that was resting on one of the tables in her bedroom.

She saw her reflection. She still appeared as pale as a ghost from the blood loss, bits and pieces of her blonde hair were stained with blood, and the bandages on her missing eye remained intact.

An eye for an eye…

She heard that in her mind, as she silently stared into the mirror, staring at her missing eye that was bandaged up. An eye she once had, now gone. Taken from her. Cut out. No longer there.

She could hear an echo of the blood curdling scream she let out the moment her eye was cut out by someone she despised - Nahiyan. It echoed in her mind loud and clear. It was gruesome, horrifying, and traumatizing. She had already been traumatized before from the Clickers, but this was another bit of trauma.

Vivienne could not stop staring at her reflection in the mirror. She just remained standing there, staring at her missing eye from the mirror. Suddenly, memories of the traumatizing event came to her. It happened only two days ago, so it was still fresh in her memory. She remembers seeing other Ordial cultists, standing there watching as Nahiyan cut her eye out. She was helpless in that moment. No one was there to save her. No one.

Then, a hand slammed onto the table, the mirror moving a tad, though it would not fall and break. It remained standing, only being moved a tad. Tears rolled down Vivienne's other eye, the eye that was still there. How could she let this happen to her? Why did she let this happen to her? Why did she do what she did? Why…

Just when she thought she would not remember anything else, she would begin to remember the events from last night. A large fight broke out in Crookback last night. She remembers being in the same place that she was in two nights prior. She remembers her friend, Allisa, lying on the ground beside her, Vivienne desperately trying to protect her as best as she could. Vivienne remembers yelling at the top of her lungs, specifically yelling at the Ordial cultists who were gathered. She cursed at them loudly, visibly frustrated and ready to kill each and every one of them, but she had no weapons.

Nahiyan then spoke about Undeadism, saying how he hopes Vivienne will die for their cause. This angered Vivienne, causing her to lash out at him loudly. She would never die for their cause. They were wrong and she knew it deep down. However, this could possibly happen to her - her becoming an Undead. She would never truly know until it happens.

Then, there was silence…

Tears.

Tears rolled down the side of Vivienne's face. She let out a loud cry, taking her mirror in her hands before smashing it onto the ground, instantly shattering it upon impact. Shards of broken glass remained on the ground where the mirror laid. Vivienne could not look at herself anymore. All she saw was herself - frail, broken, and without an eye.

Vivienne approached her bed, falling forward onto it to lay down. She would bury her face into one of her pillows, sobbing uncontrollably. These past few days were not easy for her. It was hard. It was painful. It made her feel like she was no longer strong, but instead weak and vulnerable.

She would remain lying in her bed, softly crying herself to sleep that night.

OOC NOTE:

I figured I'd write a little lore story regarding the events that have happened in the past couple of days. Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed it, even though I'm a terrible writer.

People mentioned:
@fantuinn @Clone_Fives and to the Ordial cultists who were present for some of these events.

Again, thank you for reading.
