So I recently learned of Tigran history, and the ancient civilization they had. Apparantly, they could have rivaled modern technology in advancements. A quote from the tigran history page:

"sandstone temples filled with strange urns with copper wires inside, and large networks of copper rods spanning several buildings scattered with strange mechanic objects."

Does this sound like anything specific to anyone, or seem like it'd serve any specific purpose? I've got no idea whatsoever, but maybe someone else does...? Maybe the "strange urns" were light bulbs? And the rods some form of power lines? Copper is conductive of electricity, so I don't think it's any coincident they were copper things.

I'm not sure I want to tag MonMarty, but he wrote the page, so what did he have in mind for them?

Sounds like massivecraft's version of the Baghdad battery

Sumerian tigrans confirmed
Possible, though I imagine Marty had some purpose in mind when writing it. I do believe there were light bulbs though. After all, a large round thing that was clear could be mistaken for some strange urn, and if there were copper wires in it, they'd produce the lighting. As for the other part, I'm not sure. Seems like a form of power grid, but for what?

It also states the temples were "filled" with the strange urns. If there were so many, it'd be a viable light source, no?

Tigrans were the actual first race that worked with the Seraph, which we all know are aliens.
It comes to no surprise that they knew about electricity, and that these are light bulbs.

I think the best part about Tigran history is their downfall. How did a former super empire fall to slave status? It's so mysterious OOC, and IC maybe a handful of people know only a fragment of their history.
