Things We Love About Massivecraft

So we come here to compile a list of things we love about massivecraft.I'll go first.

I love the fact that we take the time to build grand cities instead of tiny storage clusters unlike other factions servers.
 
the fresh ocean air that blows through general, oh, we dont have an ocean? all jokes aside, i love the majority of the community, how we all love massivecraft and stuff like that
 
I personally think that the Server Staff, from Cayorion who codes for and runs the server to the newest and greenest of it's aspirants. They genuinely care about the server, work hard for little/no rewards or pay, don't abuse their position or power, and always work to better the server overall. Even if people may disagree with what they do, nobody can say they don't try to improve the server all the time. Without them, there were be no server. So I love the Server Staff for their hard work and ability to put up with our bullshit on a daily basis.
 
The lore. oh my god the lore. So much lore. There are what over 500 wiki pages of the lore. That's insane. So much work has been put into it, not just by the staff but the other members of the community as well. This isn't an extremely large server but the amount of lore it's outstanding and the originality to it as well. That, that is what I love about massivecraft among many other things

Oh, God, I could fill a book with the stuff I love about Massive, but here's a short bulleted list:
  • First off, all of the architecture done by the staff is wonderful. I know you mentioned this already, but honestly, it's beautiful.
  • The lore. THE WIKI IS HUGE. I don't remember exactly how many pages, but it's ridiculous. Every one of them is very well written as well, another thing most lore lacks.
  • This server also has a great playerbase. The staff allow the players to add on to the lore through projects (and previously through player lore) and to determine the outcome of events with blowouts. That is another very rare thing to see on servers.
  • The factions worlds themselves are beautiful, as they aren't just generated, they're built specifically for the server.
  • Speaking of factions, there's the plugins used on this server. After all, Cayorion created the factions plugin. MassiveRestore saves both time and player anxiety due to having to constantly rebuild.
In all, I'm honestly surprised that this server isn't more popular. It's wonderful, and overall the best server I've been on.
 
The lore. The worlds. The sewers, especially. The forums. The texture packs. The staff, even though I'm kinda scared to rp with them. The hours of writing I've put into it, and those ridiculously funny moments at 4 am when I should be in bed. The hours watching anime after going to bed after playing massive. My friends.
 
In my almost 2 and a half years here, I regret nothing. I've grown in ways I couldn't have imagined before coming here. All because of you. I love it here, and for once, I found a community where I feel like I belong, and am acceped.
 
  • Staff members and leaders who have set responsibilities that they follow as best they can, unlike the majority of server which have corrupt AF leadership.
  • Beautifully built custom worlds that put every other server to shame.
  • Players that are pretty swell
  • a donator rank that actually is worth the money you pay for it.
  • the father of factions. need I say more?
 
I adore the community! There are mostly peaceful conversations and friendly chatting, unlike mainly toxic behavior in some servers where people tell you "Get cancir fgt" "omg noob die lol" "wtf a$shole get banned record lol".
 
I love you all, as a community.

You guys are so lovely, and accepting. Here, everyone is welcome. The Newbies get help by veteran players, everyone taht feels down, has a place to go and meet others.
You guys probably don't know how amazing you alla re, but I will say it.

You are all the best, most kin, and wonderfull people I know. Thank you all, for years of fun.
 
The people you end up meeting through it, and the friendships that can develop. Cheesy? Yes. But also true.

What am I saying. There's so many idiots on the server.. Love all of 'em.
 
What isn't there to love about it?
Maybe that's the real question to ask. Sure would be a smaller thread.
 
The experiences that are made within this little world are irreplaceable. Friendships and bonds are made and if someone is feeling down, I've never seen so much outreach and help/support pour out for a single person. People are really there to try and make others feel better, rather than put them down (usually). The community within our little niche is outstanding.
 
On a more serious note, possibly that it's just so unique, and for the better. I'll never view multiplayer the same again. This server is simply superior to any other multiplayer experience on any game/platform, anywhere on the web. Family friendly, wonderful, friendly, helpful staff(And players!), so many awesome plugins found nowhere else, and lots to do! Factions survival, kit PvP, Roleplay, Questing, Creative, what doesn't it have? It's just great in every way, and I fail to ever see something terribly wrong in it. I think that everyone contributes to it's greatness, but staff the most.

I have tried to call it quits several times; though I always fail. I always wonder what keeps me coming back. Other servers lose me because I get bored, but something about this one always has me crawling right back..

But in all seriousness the community isn't what keeps me on the server, majority of the community being quite toxic cough cough the flame battles between Wolves/Raptum and Wrath, for example. I wouldn't have stayed on this server if it wasn't for the friendships I've made. @Samfari 47 day snapchat streak strong @Shaneski101 a swell polar bear @Kyrakshi as dank as her memes @Angel1824 aANNGEEEEEEEL, and basically all of Wolves, and even some from outside Wolves. Theres too many I can't name them all :'))
