Thibaut du Pont was born in the countryside of Genevaud to Claude du Pont and an aristocrat woman from Agennes-sur-Livres. He was incredibly pious at an early age and was deeply into his theological books about Unionism. His tendency to be rather more feminine also led him to enjoy the softer sides of life like music and poetry. While his brother, Robere, was developing further and further into femine behaviors, Claude made quick sure to put down any notion that regarding Thibaut. His father began to train Thibaut to be more focused on weightlifting and masculinity. Eventually, by the age of 16, Thibaut was a muscular man and took an interest in reading about his own family history and felt a sudden passion to uphold the family legacy. He decided, with Claude’s pushing, to become a Reverend himself. He decided to take his leave to Basta for seminary. Adulthood Thibaut took this transition to a clerical life rather well. Early on in his clerical career, he decided to be a Helerian Commander and help overseer small divisions of Helerians. He spent his time working as a curate, performing liturgies and other tasks more and more. He continued to weight lift on his off hours and learn Rettism and Sanktism after sometime in Basta. He even became friends with a Darkwald named Yvette whom he and her would always stick it through thick and thin and friends with a aspiring general named Reimar Typhonus who wrote letters of encouragement to Thibaut. He would always find himself in company with Yvette and always find time with Reimar Typhonus all the way to the present. As time went on however, Thibaut grew rather curious regarding the theological values held by the clergy of Basta. Thibaut began to dive deeper into learning more about demons and Evintarian doctrine but kept such thoughts to himself. In doing so, he was elevated to Reverend without any harm or calls for heresy against Thibaut. His faith in Basta’s doctrine about Unionism was lowered when Cedromar had the Holy Spirit leave his being. When he was twenty-eight years old, his family fell into disarray and lost their land due to the previous Duchess of the family's poor management of the family’s finances. Thibaut felt incredibly distressed about it as he saw it was his fault for his lack of activity in supporting in the family. He then went into contact with his father and his aunt Catherine Tyrannian to see how both were doing. His aunt sent a pleased letter, but his father responded by telling his son to remain in Basta. Recently In the present year, Thibaut was found a sense of melancholy in knowing he barely visited his family as much considering his time spent in Basta. He decided to reconnect with his brother, Robere, who convinced him to come to the Crown Isle. When he was about to serve as chaplain to the Companion Knights, Claude requested Thibaut to become apart of the Synod and learn under Deacon Ioannis’ sect. Thibaut decided to take Claude’s request. As a few months passed, Thibaut eventually found himself in the position of High Reverend.
@AntonVoron Proficiency removed one of Thibaut's proficiency, so decided to update Thibaut's page. -Added Ithanian influence onto his culture from his mother and from being in Basta. -Heresy society knowledge was removed so invested the points instead into demonology. -Butchered the Command Tactic Skill to use some of the points for Sanktism and Rettism. Kept some points around for aesthetic reasons. -Changed Unarmed to Athletic Training since he never used his fists for combat and only trained. -Updated his body stat -Added a more detail regarding his clothing. -Changed life story to include additional details like his evintarian beliefs before reaching the crown city + people he grew close to and just changed some odd wording in general.
