Coven Leader or Coven Danger?
by Diablo Crow

While the vampire known as Mirabella gives off the air of superiority and control over her downward spiral, it is far easier to say that she is the single most dangerous monster to disgrace those supporting Woldemar. From her miscalculations of supporting Qalhata and seeing her people sacrificed to further their selfishness to the continued rescuing of Elred. Has the whole underworld forgotten how this Saivalathar gave up every name and location related to vampires to save his hide? Even his daughter wasn't a forethought in mercy. Yet, vampires seem to continue to flock under this rot-mother. I mean, seriously - who wears bog-muck and calls it fashion? Find a better role model; she isn't it.

July Ninths's Crookback Court
by Elliot U. F. H. Farid

This Court was a short one with a couple of bumps and stops. Morrigan Callister has offered the Square Go's arena up for Trial by Combat. Rennyn requested builders and funding from the Council. Coren asked that a law be passed to make vandalism of religious idols illegal within New Crookback. This decision is pending specific wording from the Crookback Representative.

Eloi accused Harlow of being responsible for vandalism and attacks against his restaurant. The Council opted not to do anything about it, and Eloi was told to sort out his problems privately with Harlow.

Xeniya then called for Alban to be voted off the Council. Apparently the Lord Commander of the Violet Order had already issued terms for Alban's release from Violet custody, one of which included his removal from the Council. Why it took them this long to remove him in the face of numerous problems and complaints no one will ever know (but it rhymes with toothless and sounds a lot like inaction). More likely, Harlow had been stalling to keep his best buddy and pal Alban on the Council. In the absence of the Representative he was well within his rights to call votes and do what was necessary.

Abigail Tucker resigned immediately afterwards, accusing Harlow of wanting her gone in addition to Hessolis. This same sentiment was expressed to Her Grace Ino-Femunn. A statement was issued following the Court's conclusion.

The Crookback Council extends their greatest thanks to Abigail Tucker for her efforts within the Council and wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours. There is no bad blood between remaining Council Members and Miss Tucker. We are sad to see her go, but glad that she is moving forward with her own ambitions and goals.

Whether this is true or an attempt to save face is up for interpretation, but Council membership is an ever revolving door of people falling in and out of favor with the Undercity and sitting members.

The paper had originally been presented to the witch of the deep via a distressed courier, worried about what a particular column had to say about his upyress. But all such worried ness which once filled the room dissipated, dictated by the fanfare of her boisterous laugh. "Of course I'm a dangerous monster, all-evil covered in 'bog-muck.' You cannot expect any less from me! And yet, what sanguine under my ruling can say they have openly taken up residency within castles, had fine wine and cheeses for dinner everyday, and slept with a mind of genuine tranquility before me?" A chortle chased off the end of her sentence, finalizing her thoughts on the matter as an echo of chuckles spread through the room in uneasy redundancy.
