The following is a set of bylaws related to the ways in which one can be charged with treason against the Empire and the punitive measures taken thereafter, hereby declared as such:
I. To knowingly act in any manner which threatens the integrity of the Empire, its administration, officials, peerage, the citizens within it, or the Emperor himself, is treason.
II. To knowingly plan to act in any manner which threatens the integrity of the Empire, its administration, officials, peerage, the citizens within it, or the Emperor himself, is treason.
III. To display hostile intentions toward the Empire, its administration, officials, peerage, the citizens within it, or the Emperor himself, is treason.
IV. Such charges of treason are to be punished by incarceration, forfeiture of any or all titles and positions in the case that an official or noble of the Empire is deemed treasonous, and may be punished by execution in cases deemed severe enough: this requires the mutual, signed agreement of both the Lord Chancellor and Lord Commander.

Subsequently, it has come to the attention of this office that one Jared Luchs Kade has quietly conspired to disturb the Empire's peace by ousting the Lord Chancellor from her seat and selfishly instate himself in her place.
This is inexorably seen as conscious plotting and an aggrandizing display of hostile intentions towards not only the Lord Chancellor, but the Empire itself: challenging a decision made by the administration and the Emperor so brazenly.
For this, Jared Luchs Kade is hereby charged with treason, and is stripped of all titles and positions, including but not limited to that of Secretary of the Faith. He is officially wanted for arrest.
We trust that the administration will select a new secretary soon that has more faith in the Empire.
It is also known that there were other conspiring nobles who will remain nameless for the sake of the mercy about to be granted: any who come forward in private confidence to the Lord Chancellor about any role they played in this incident will be granted full amnesty. We hope in the future that if there are personal grievances with the Lord Chancellor and the administration, that they will be voiced constructively so that they may be evaluated reasonably for the sake of a better body of government.
Bite not the hand that feeds you.
Signed,
Constanze du Brierüst
Lord Chancellor
Archduchess of Maraisburke
