A Song about a young woman named Evie, written by Miss Clementine Bagshaw. It is public knowledge that she wrote this.
[Rosabelle, speaking]
Evie! Oh Evie, don't do that again.

[Evie, speaking]
I'm sorry, mama. You know I cannot control this… this curse..!

[Rosabelle, singing]
Never have I ever wanted anything more than a kid with no powers.. But, I do love you, my dear. I just wish we never had to hide this… this curse!

I don't know what me and your father did wrong to deserve such a child with a curse, curse, it is. I worry for your future, my dear. Your future has never looked bright, but, ever since this curse came about, no one has promised to have your hand in Marriage! No one! Evie..

[Evie, singing]
Well, I'm sorry I'm not the perfect child, but believe me, what did I do in a past life to deserve this, mother?[Evie runs off.]

[Rosabelle, speaking]
Evie! Evie, come back!

[Evie, Singing]
Mama never loved me, Mama never cared. Mama never loved me, Mama never cared. I must hold back the tears, must hold back the screams! I've got to show them, that I am not cursed! I am a young woman with not a curse, but a, well, a gift!

[Townspeople in the background]
She's cursed, a cursed woman, a cursed woman..

[Evie, Singing]
I'll get a man to marry me, I'll use my gift for good, and I'll never, never ever again be called cursed!
I can just feel it! I can't be cursed, no.

[Townspeople in the background]
She's cursed, a cursed woman, a cursed woman…

[Evie, Singing]
No! I am not cursed, they just don't understand, no one understands! No one gets it..! I am not cursed, just because I am orange-eyed and I can do these... These things with my hands! I am not a cursed child, I am not a cursed child... No no! Mama never loved me, Mama never cared. I must go forth with my journey, hold back the tears! Hold back the screams! I've got to show them, I am not cursed, I am… Gifted!

[Evie singing the outro]
I am not cursed, I am gifted... I am gifted..! Mama never loved me, Mama never cared! She never cared...

Aberforth would be shown the song by a young and eccentric family member of his. He looked over the lyrics before he tucked the page away and addressed his gathered family in the Golden Willow-
"Today she sings aberrants are gifted, tomorrow she sings Kathar are good. I should find time to speak with miss Bagshaw"
