History
The Order of the Silken Raven was first conceptualised under the name of "Hinterlands Own Silk Co." in the year 110 AC. Established under the reign of the second Ravenstad Patriarch, Larrecin the Fox, since then the Order of the Silken Raven has remained at the forefront of Ravenstad influence and political projection. The Duke was smart enough to realize the advantage of his geographical hindrances and turn them to advantages and taking note of the popular Ithanian court fashions of his and his father's homeland. Lands were dedicated to the creation and perfection of dresses, suits and all manner of outfits with an aim of dressing the pristinely wealthy Ithanian nobility. Lining the coffers of the Ravenstad treasury for many years the business expanded in profile, opening branches all across the Archipelago and Hivres of the Ithanian Realm, all the while taking advantage of the decedent and lavish consumption of the material. However, eventually the fickle popularity of the Ithanian fashion sense would fall with the rise of the Leutz-Vixe culture in which the Order of the Silken Raven would play a vital part in norming the culture and forming it's unique image. Even to this day the land of the Leutz is known for the bright clothing and vibrant styles of its people. With the business falling to the hands of Imperial Courtist Charles Ravenstad, the boutique has reinvigorated it's efforts in dictating the flow of fashion and culture and has opened a boutique in the main street of Regalia's Capital.
Hierarchy
- Grand Mercer
- The Grand Mercer is the head of the Order, they run and manage the business for the Ravenstad family and the position has always been handed to the most thrifty of current Generation of Ravenstads.
- The Current Grand Mercer is: Valerie Ravenstad.
- Vice-Mercer
- The Vice-Mercer acts the second in command of the Order, usually overseeing the more menial aspects of running the business. They tend to be from the ranks of the Order itself.
- 25% Commission on any and all skins sold under the Ravenstad brand.
- The Vice-Mercer Position is: Vacant.
- The Vice-Mercer position requires a slightly different skill set that the regular Mercer, this position is expected to help with the management of events and direction of Mercer under them. Alongside this the Vice-Mercer is consulted for the creation of new fashion collections.
- Mercer
- The Mercers are the seasoned and experienced tailors of the Ravenstad boutique and can form a boutique in their own right. They have the privilege of displaying their fine wares as part of a fashion line within the Boutique.
- There can only be four Mercers.
- 20% Commission on any and all skins sold under the Ravenstad brand.
- The Current Mercers are: N/A
- Mercers are selected on a two week review process, the amount of work successfully completed in a two week period is examined and if 3 amount of commission skins are completed then promotion will be considered. The converse is possible due to the limited amount of spaces, if someone goes inactive for a long period of time then demotion is possible (IRL Circumstances can be considered as long as we are informed. Illness, holiday, exams etc.). Others factors that affect the consideration for promotion include things such as participating in boutique events and having a roleplay character who works in the shop.
- Tailor
- The Tailors are the young and hungry workforce of the Boutique, who have the skilled handcraft to create the dresses and outfits commissioned.
- 10% Commission on any and all skins sold under the Ravenstad brand.
- The Current Tailors are: Ora de Lourcks ( @Goldifish ), Azelia Pepitone ( @KingBrooke ), Adelaide Segreto ( @WaterDruppel ), Jean-Pierre Pierlot ( @_Capri ), Marie-Laure Levasseur ( @Katiesc ), Marjolijn Aman ( @SnugglyKittens ), Carolina Zani ( @Patsie ), Vivetina Drappau ( @Miss_Confined ) .

We're located on mainstreet in Regalia, right above the Prince's barber shop. Feel free to come for a private fitting.
We're right down the street from the tavern, accross the road from the Sawbones.

Applications Format
Here at the Silken Raven we are looking to answer the age old question of just exactly where it is that all these nobles get their fancy clothes, while creating a fun little roleplay along with it.
So we're looking for all sorts, it doesn't matter if you make skins or not, to work as tailors in the shop
