The Royal Army of Mull


Established in 306AC, The Royal Army is the highest order of realm defense and state intelligence in the territories held by House Harhold. The Army was founded with the intent of ensuring the Sovereignty of the Crown


The Royal Army does not only offer you a job, it can also alter your life remarkably.

As the soldier can become close companions of the King they more often than not become entrusted with positions of power and wealth in the Kingdom. Most notable would be the High Archduke Edmond du Pont, who made his debut in the Holy City as a retainer of the House Harhold untill his own ascension to nobility.

Honorary Titles


- Champion -


The Champion is the finest warrior of the Royal Army, and therefore all of Mull. Any man can contest the title and claim it as their own through an honorable duel. To decline a challenge is to renounce your title.


- Ealdorman -


A title most often given to the Commandant and his Captains, the title of Ealdorman grants the holder a significant amount of power in the Harhold domain. The Ealdorman acts as the King's representative in one of his sub-realms, assisting him in the reign of the region. It should come as no surprise that this title also grants one the respect of the Vlissinger and Mullish people and nobility.


- Thane -


A Knight of the realm, the Thane is an oathsworn warrior of House Harhold, their loyalty rewarded with a manorial estate in the Kingdom and their status uplifted.

Rights And Responsibilities


The Royal Army of Mull has a wide variety of responsibilities, leaving them rarely idle. Not only do they have the national defense to ensure, they are also the flagship of Harholdic intrigue, serving as a private intelligence agency.


Responsibilities:

• Patrolling the properties and estates of House Harhold on the Crown Isle, and the Kingdom of Mull

• Keeping the peace at House Harhold events.
  ​
• Investigating threats against members of the House Harhold.
  ​
• Acting out the directives of the Royal Court.
