The Rosaria Circle is a collection of Occult and Mundane individuals that operates out of, and for, the Regalian Empire and its citizens. Its foremost tenants involve the ethical treatment of Occult peoples, the Occult in general, and the research and study of its safe usage.

The Circle offers housing, community, aid with employment, and assistance with research into Occult phenomena. It also focuses on offering rehabilitation and acceptance for individuals who struggle to find it due to their occult nature. The Circle's tenants, and operations, are as follows:

Occult as People, not as a Plague
The Circle firmly believes that Occult peoples have a place in this world, and should not be put to the sword or made second class citizens due to this fact. The Circle strives to educate and encourage the safe use of Magic to the general public, assisting with preventing the spread of malign Spirits and corruption. It believes that Regalia is the best place for this, and works to support it, and help its people flourish.

Understanding is the First Step
The Circle firmly believes that to achieve its goals, it must first foster a space for learning. To do this, it hosts bi-weekly 'Gatherings of the Maligned,' a place where Occult and non-Occult peoples can speak to their experiences, ask questions, and learn in a shared environment. It makes a stance of peaceful communication during these, attempting to reach out to those both in the City proper, and in Crookback and the Sewers.

Humane Treatment for All
The Circle firmly believes that institutions should foster empathetic treatment of its people, especially prisoners and criminals. The Circle opposes public punishments, maltreatment, and abuse of citizens, especially against the Occult, and those who otherwise have little rights to defend themselves.

To be Knowledgeable is to be Proactive
The Circle firmly believes that it should use its resources to better understand Aloria, its history, and its peoples. It, and its members, should involve themselves in current events, current troubles, and try to guide others to collectively make good decisions for the betterment of the Empire.

Rehabilitation through Community
The Circle firmly believes that death is not justice, and that others should be offered a helping hand to uplift them. That especially those afflicted with magical burdens should be helped, and through communal effort, prevented from harming themselves and those around them. The Circle offers these rehabilitative services to any who are willing, and will attempt to aid even those unwilling. ((Please Note: This aspect will only be done when pre-arranged OOCly for people who want a pivot or character change. It becomes too exhausting otherwise because we cannot, and obviously don't want to, force character change on someone ICly.))

Membership

The Circle recruits on a trial basis, ensuring first that prospective members are a good fit for the Circle, and align with its goals. Final say on recruitment is managed by the Leader, but any Lieutenant or current Members can suggest someone to join, to be judged by the Circle at large. The current acting leader of the Circle is Anathema ((@Birdsfoot_Violet)), who can be contacted for recruitment, or issues with current Circle members. Other members can also be contacted for recruitment if the Leader is unavailable: Gehrman Gahan ((@TheWonderOfYou)), Argo ((@SuperKamiWarlock)), or Stray ((@Jcboi5))

Outside of general Members and the Lieutenants, who act as the go to leadership in the absence of the Leader, friends of the Circle are welcome to partake in social activities or work with the Circle where appropriate.

The Rosaria Circle currently operates out of the the Hexen Arcane Sanctuary at the far end of the Noble District ((/tp NobleDistrict, walk to the end))((Msg Birdsfoot_Violet on Discord.))

OOC Information

We are comfortable with IC or OOC recruitment, whether it be incorporating an old character or making a new one. Either way, please reach out to @Birdsfoot_Violet on discord if you're interested in joining. (Can be found through RP Community Discord)

We also have a public discord for events, ask any current member for an invite, if interested.

What we can promise you, on an OOC level:
A group of active, informed "Magical" characters.
A consistent group to RP with
A number of players experienced with Progressions & Server Lore, able to help anyone dive into 'deep lore' and roleplay
A place to explore characters with lofty goals but complicated histories & imperfect methods

What we would like from you, on an OOC level:
General Activity
Good Conduct (No breaking server rules, toxicity, etc.)
Being involved and active on your character that is part of the Circle
