GRAND REOPENING

The Regalian Institute of the Performing Arts will be hosting a grand reopening upon the return of Luopeha Yeung to Regalia after his long visit back home to Dexai. Various drinks will be served, alongside food, live music (of course), and sign-ups for lesson slots and classes.

The reopening party will be hosted on this Saturday, June 10th, at 7:00 PM ((all times in EST)), and is open to all law-abiding citizens of Regalia. This Institute is located in the Tyrian Premise, near the apartment houses.

If you cannot make it to the party to sign up for classes, feel free to mail Luopeha Yeung at his residence at Seaside2 ((DM me over the forums or Discord (@StarriEyedMan#7636))) to set up a class schedule.

Classes for this semester will include:

Ethnomusicology- The study of music and how it pertains to cultures the world over. This class is expected to run on Friday evenings at 7:30 for four weeks. Join if you are interested in the music of various cultures Aloria over! This class is more general, and will touch on various parts of Aloria. For a more specific look at the Songaskia culture, check out the class "The Dongilitariku," offered just prior to this class. This class uses the textbook "Instruments of Aloria: The West" (provided by the instructor).

The Dongilitariku- The bardic tradition of the Songaskian Massya, the Dongilitariku are part musician, part historian, part story-teller, and are completely fascinating. This class will go over their instruments, history, and traditional stories of this class of citizen. Certainly a worthwhile class for anyone interested in Songaskian cultures. Meets Fridays evenings at 6:00 for four weeks, right before Ethnomusicology. A great opportunity if you have a free evening to take two classes!

The Ancient Aetosian Theatre- Come learn about the traditional theatre arts of Ancient Etosil and Hellas. Learn about the history of drag in theatre, the instrument that accompanied this style of musical theatre, the Aetosian Chorus, and get the opportunity to act out scenes translated from the original texts. Some readings required for this class from the ancient texts (all translated by Professor Yeung), but nothing too heavy. Mostly just reading a short scene each week. This class will meet on Saturdays at 12:00 AM for four weeks.

*All classes are pending enrollment number.

**Private instrument lessons are also available on bowed and plucked strings, as well as keyboards of all types!

I hope you'll enjoy The Regalian Institute of the Performing Arts! We have lots to offer here, and hope you'll join us to enrich your tastes in music and other art forms.

This event is postponed due to the noble event going on right now! I will try to come up with a new date and time soon.
