It has since gone on to find a new home in the astutely named New Crookback, opening its counter to all that the Undercity has to offer and serving as a place of shelter for the lawless public. Its mission is to harbor all manner of illegality and variety, fighting back against law enforcement and other authorities in the pursuit of personal freedom and fulfillment. ※ With the dim, homely air of a speakeasy, the sunken bar boasts a variety of stolen and ill-begotten spirits, selling high-quality liquor for far cheaper than it was bought with the express intention of spiting the upper-crust establishments that produced it. Its other exports include a wide variety of contraband, such as alchemy, clockwork, and other unsavory items of note that can be bought behind the counter for a special sort of price. ※ Overall, the Pandemonium is a hub for havoc and high spirits, open to any who wish for asylum from the harder parts of life-- or asylum from the law, as it were-- and all those that seek a place to do their dirty business with a strong drink in hand. Cecil encourages all manner of patronage, turning away no stranger on account of appearance or background, welcoming the diversity of conversation and context they bring with open arms. Smuggler’s Run (#L3) 60ml King Hans Jenever Gin. 60ml Dubonnet. One dash of Angostura Bitters. Boasting the simplest profile of tastes and ingredients on the Circuit’s menu, the Smuggler’s Run is a perfect cocktail for the indecisive or the flighty, much like its namesake. Notes of grin and bitters lend a smooth texture to the drink, which is served stirred and iced in a martini glass with no garnish. ‘Smuggling: the illegal movement of goods in or out of a state.’ Treason’s Tears (#C1) 45ml Kalnevsky Vodka. 15ml Lensanna Orange Liqueur. 90ml Red Grapefruit Juice. Topped up with fizzy water. Perhaps the most complexly flavored cocktail on offer, Treason’s Tears is a dark and moody blend of citrus notes and vodka that rocks over the tongue with the help of a fizzy water top-off. A killer mixture of rum, gin, vodka, tequila, and orange liquor, this cocktail is a riot of citrus, cherry, sugar and spirits that hits like a hammer and holds on tight, standing as a challenge only those truly devoted to chaos can hope to overcome.
