The Pain
Filled with only sadness, Connak can only cry as the one he loved was reduced to ash. "Why must I always be forced to suffer?" Connak would softy ask through his sobs. It's evident that the rogue has gone through a lot. First he was abandoned by his birth parents, then he is forced to kill the person he loved most and now... The one person who meant too much to him dies while he is being cured. Connak goes back to the house where he and Andreas would spend countless hours together. It's there Connak would take one item... A pendant. A pendant that he bought for Andreas so he can wear it until the hour of death as a symbol of their love. Every second he spend in the empty house, the tears come to Connak's eyes. "Andre... I loved you, I said I would bleed for you, die for you, suffer for you." Connak would whisper in the still air. Slowly, Connak starts to cry again. "Why can't I be happy? WHY DO I HAVE TO SUFFER?!" Connak would cry out, falling to his knees. The pain of this alone is enough to crack the cunning rogue as new wounds formed. Feeling alone and empty with no where to find comfort and no one to help him, Connak pulls out his dagger and stares at it with red eyes. Having been down this road many times before, the Shenath would nearly give into the urge to end it all. "No... Andre wouldn't want me to do this... Nor would Alessa... Or the Mentor." Connak would again whisper, slowly sheathing the blade and standing up. "Connak, you are unwell... You NEED help to move on." A voice in the rogues head would echo. "Go find someone you trust and they will help you." The voice would echo again. With no other options that don't result in self-destruction, Connak would wipe away the tears and set off. Thinking it would ease the pain.
