Family Trade: Ship Sailors/Captains, Combative Tacticians, but varies member to member. --------------------------------------------- Family History The family name Orledrethal goes way back during the times of the Allorn Empire. Founded by two Fin’ullen Altalar, Tehlarissa and Orist, the family name originated from their original family names, Orleir and Draethaali. The family was very involved in the military and navy for the Allorn Empire before it’s fall, but that changed when Tehlarissa and Orist began to get neck deep into Void Worship. Elidyr as he grew up, rejected void worship and went out on his own to live his own life in servitude to Estel. The couple moved to the western isles from the Fin’ullen Straits, and there they became members of the first Saivales. Years later, they took part in the event known as the Night of the Fallen Star, partaking in the killing of Estel servants and emissaries, as well as burning of Nenya trees. After the events, the couple moved to the Saivale Landmass where they settled down, having more children, and becoming captains of ships for commerce and the local warlords navy in the brand new Dread Empire that had risen in power. Tehlarissa, former matriarch and founder, died during a seaside raid of a Cielothar village, which leadership was granted down to Utharawyn to be able to grant Solluether later down the line. However, an attack from Crimson Witches hired by rival families attacked the main line, killing family members, and chasing some out of the empire. Orist took initiative to fight back, hiring his own mercenary force, and fought the Witches back, and bullied the rivaling family down. Years later, Solluether would return to the Orledrethal’s home city, Aelakashvier and informally become matriarch. Her leadership was made formal when Utharawyn died during the Bone Horror Crisis. --------------------------------------------- Family Appearance Most Orledrethals look like the typical Saivale. Tall, both genders reaching up to 6’10, though the shortest family members tend to be females, at 6’4. Hair color typically is pure white, however raven black is also common, some born with it or others changing with dye or abilities allowing the individual to change their hair. Eye colors are typically black sclera with commonly green iris, or icy blue. Skin tone is always a pale grey, with very little pinkness. Bodily modifications are very common within the family. Tattoos of chosen void sire are very encouraged, and most enjoy piercings on the ears, as well as ear cuffs to decorate their ears, or to replace the ears should the point be cut off. Some Threlwar mutations are favored, while others not so much. Void Sight is encouraged among those not born with black sclera for one reason or another, and Void Ocular are common as well to make the eyes gold or purple. Claws are favored, as well as tails. In fact, tails are very common. --------------------------------------------- Family Property Orledrethal Family Home - A massive estate in the city of Aelakashvier within the Dread Empire. There’s smaller buildings around the estate for extended family, as well as hired individuals. Has in the past turned to ash, but has been rebuilt. In the past was a Fin’ullen Altalar in the Altalar void cults who got turned into a Saivale Kathar at the time of the Cataclysm. Her, and her husband paved way for the families maritime tradition, her and her husband being fearsome naval leaders and ship captains. However, she finally met her end during a seaside raid of a Cielothar village at the hands of an Avanthar. Orist Orledrethal {431} Husband of Tehlarissa, was in a similar position as Tehlarissa. Fin’ullen Altalar who turned into a Saivale Kathar at the time of the Cataclysm. Still alive today as a prominent captain of Kathar ships, being a local legend in the Orledrethal’s home city for his fine. Orist has no interest in going to Regalia. Elidyr Orledrethal {302} Son of Tehlarissa and Orist, was born when his parents were still Finullen Altalar. Currently lives in the Fin’ul Straits, with no interest in going to Regalia, or meeting up with his now Kathar relatives. It is unknown if Elidyr has married, or had children; which he has. Although, his life is known, and generally understood he is still alive. make an altalar, but warning, being an altalar among kathar probably isn't fun Vilthadar Orledrethal {Dead} Saivale Kathar son of Tehlarissa and Orist, was a fair ship captain, and Atraves combatant before his death at the hands of a Crimson Witch raid paid by a rivaling family. Utharawyn Orledrethal {Dead} Saivale Kathar wife of Vilthadar, tattoo artist and military tactician. She met her doom in Hallonq, Daenshore during the Bone Horror Crisis. Ex-Matriarch. Solluether Orledrethal {138} Daughter of Vilthadar and Utharawyn, and current matriarch of the Orledrethal family.
