It was the late evening that the nobility convened for the debutante ball. Scandal was shared, alliances were made, and above all, political positions were taken by the families across the board. The Anahera family quickly thrust itself onto the top of the Court Ball with their eloquent underhanded actions during the ball. The court awarded them with the Bayeri Estate in Regalia to reward their political intrigues. As the event drew to a close, the aging Morgannan Kade summarized a vote for the war. With the exception of one family, the entire nobility voted for the continuation of the war, and so the political offices made their way to the Hadravian State. The Hadravian state had recently been pulled into the war by the Osmanliyye Sultanate and had aligned with Regalia to fight Qadiriyye. The fifth army led by General von Steppenwitz was already present, requesting aid from the third and fourth armies.
The Imperial court announced the next day that two fronts would be opened. Earl Ludwig Fuchs was elevated to Duke of Dragenthal and named Lord Commander of the third army. Ulric Typhonus was restored to his Lordship that the Qadir had stripped from him and named Lord Commander of the fourth army. Ulric Typhonus was to lead the army into the Osmanliyye Sultanate while Ludwich Fuchs was instructed to take the third and support the fifth army of von Steppenwitz. To the nobility and common folk of Regalia, the choice was now apparent: Throw their lot in with the Typhonus family, or the Fuchs family. Military officers and retainers as well as tacticians were to be assigned to the various armies and take to the field to defeat the pro-Qadir forces in an attempt to bring an end to the Qadir hegemony over the smaller eastern states.
Those wishing to become an officer, retainer or tactician were invited to sign up at either Ulric Typhonus or Ludwig Fuchs. Certainly, the political position of these two families was now to be found in the field of battle. Officers would be decreed from the nobility, while retainers and tacticians can be from any social class. Every army may have a max of 5 officers and a minimum of 2. Any army may have any amount of tacticians and retainers, though one tactician is recommended per officer. Certainly, deciding what family to support, or what family to seek support from would continue to be important in the coming weeks.

Note:
- Any character may apply to join, though only trough Terence29 and Catcat1305.
- Only Nobility may be officers.
- The first battle report may be on friday next week, though this depends on how fast the commanders file their paperwork.
- You are recommended heavily to have a character application written. Not having one, you will not receive battle rolls or skill increases and will be treated like a normal soldier.
- Your character will never die. They may be permanently scarred or wounded as a result of really bad rolls though.
