The Lion's Guard is House Rote's personal house guard. Each and every man follows the oath of the Lion's Maw, and pledges to defend all members of house Rote and the peerage that accompanies them. They follow the oath of the Lion's Maw and dedicate themselves to the protection of the house, in return for payment and respect among its members and peoples.
A Lion is nothing but courageous and intimidating amongst those lurking in shadows warding danger amongst the members of house Rote.
Standing tall with the silhouette of the Lion's glorious sun shaped mane and hanging jaw of canines. A Lion is expected to fit all requirements and behave appropriately as expected by House Rote. Being expected to protect the House at all costs no matter the circumstance, as said within the oath. By taking the oath and employing yourself within the Lion's Guard you formally accept any punishments to come when breaking the oath.
Those of the Lion's Guard have the following rights
- The right to dress in half-plate for the protection of House Rote
- The right to wield weaponry for the protection of House Rote
- The right to protect House Rote and peers of Nobility with the use of force.
- The right to perform arrests and transfer the criminal to an appropriate charter if none are present.
