The Imperial Guard
The Imperial Guard are the last line of defense for the Imperial Family, though more specifically to the Emperor and the Crown prince of the Regalian Empire. Legally speaking, the Imperial Guard are part of the Holy Seat, a separate State entity that is removed from the Regalian Holy City, and functions on itself with its own government. As such, Imperial Guards are only stringently under the control of the Regalian Government, and primarily owe their allegiance to the Imperial Court.
Imperial Guards are few, and their position is extremely prestigious. Only the best fighters are able to be qualified for the brutal training regiment and the criteria for even applying are high. The Imperial Guard's primary duty is ensuring the survival of the Emperor, followed by the Empire's Crown Prince, followed by the Imperial Family and finally the rest of the Imperial Court, including the Unionist Sancella. The Imperial Guard is often also called the Tyrian Order, which is its official name, or the Kade Guard, given how the Kade family has re-branded the guard since coming into power in the Empire.

Members
Rank: Imperial Watchers
The Imperial Watchers are the Emperor's right and left hands (or more, if necessary). These represent the most trusted and most favorited Imperial Guards that may come closest to the Emperor. They have full freedom to treat the Emperor as an equal with regards to his protection, and have far ranging freedoms in terms of what they can do, which would normally be considered heresy. Imperial Watchers owe their loyalty to no-one but the Emperor alone, and do not obey the command of anyone but the Emperor.
The Imperial Commander is the Lord Commander of the Imperial Guard. it is their duty to assign the Guards where necessary, and issue commands when in leading role situations. The Imperial Commander is appointed by the Imperial Steward when one is absent from the Imperial Guards. There can only ever be one Imperial Commander, though if necessary, the Imperial Steward may appoint a sub-Commander.
Imperial Guards are the main brunt force of the Tyrian Order. They guard the Imperial Family and anyone else who they are commanded to protect.

Duties and Rights
Imperial Guard will not under any circumstance be a member of any Guard organization, whether a House Guard, Inquisition, State Guard or City Guard. The Imperial Guard is the only organization your character should be in. Loyalty is the most prized possession of a Imperial Guard, and loyalty to House Kade must be paramount.
Imperial Guards have the right to bear arms and armor and represent House Kade's interests when in armor. Those that abuse this position will be met with the fullest extent of the law, as well as an Imperial Inquest and Inquisition to heretical corruption.
Imperial Guards shall listen explicitly to the commands of their commanders and patrons. Disobedience is severely punished within the graces of the Emperor. Conventional law will not defend one against the discipline of the Imperial prerogative.
Imperial Guards are expected to be frequently present for service, and should not under any circumstance resign themselves to complacency and laziness. Imperial Guards are expected to report for duty and seek it, not wait for assignments.
Imperial Guards will be given a basic bunk bed and facilities at the Steward's Castle as the Headquarters of the Tyrian Order, along with lodgings in the Imperial Palace. Imperial Watchers may also receive lodgings at various Kade Estates and Castles available to the Family.

Applications
In order to apply, pen a personalized IC letter to this thread addressing the Imperial Steward as to your reasoning for wishing to join the Imperial Guard. Additionally, also present yourself for a combat evaluation to the Imperial Steward if your letter is accepted. Recommendations from other Guard institutions and religious individuals to testify to your good Unionist Nature are also appreciated. Keep in mind, when one becomes an Imperial Guard, all previous loyalties have to be rescinded.
Only full Ailor, Half-Ailor, and Half-Elves (so long as they are Half-Ailor) are welcome
