Aloria Story Progression The End Of The Year: Act 4

After the battle ended, many pieces of armor and weapons mysteriously disappeared from the scenes of battle as Sasha & friends make quick work of the loots. They then rolled out several barrels of Vodka they've been keeping and get wasted in a party crawl around the city.

Meanwhile near the Tyrian fortress, Forte stood near the house Andrieu fell into, slowly clapping before walking away. A smile planted on his face.

"It's over." she almost mouthed, her tone being in fact, slightly higher than that of a whisper. Elise could yet hear the cries of those harmed by the final act of rebellion. The woman walked through the shattered streets with a slow pace, eventually aiding those who needed her help, injured commoners, kids looking for their mothers, or people simply moving the corpses of their loved ones out of the way.
As Elise proceeded by the ruins of the city, though, a strange spirit filled her soul, painting a wide smile of relieve on her face.
"It's finally over."

After letting out a final barrage of heated insults and regrets, Camila charged forward, giving Andrieu a final push, pushing him backwards and over the railing of the balcony. He flipped over backwards and fell headfirst down into the blazing inferno below, the roofs of houses that were set on fire not hours before by Anahera loyalists.

Charlotte settled herself by a large bowl of water, squeezing her wet hair, trying to remove the brown dye with all her might while Igor the hunchback servant eyed her holding a tray of biscuits.

'A wonderful day, Igor.'

'Yes, mistress. Yes!'

The hunchback's voice trembled within the Ithanian district manor, his eye twitching every time his lips curled to pronounce his hard S's. Charlotte turned around on the chair, glancing towards the mirror set up in front of her, examining the brown patches and stripes in her hair.

'The feeling of a scheme concluded... it's like fresh mountain air after a week spent indoors.'

'A scheme, yes!'

Gabbling that, Igor reached out with the tray of biscuits, the arlesse taking one and munching on it before she rinsed her hair once more.

'Igor, fetch me a map of the Archipelago!'

The hunchback strode off, returning with a large parchment, spreading it out in front of Charlotte. She flicked her hair to behind her back, picking up a quill and marking a few things on the map with gentle swings.

'Igor, with the Charlotte scheme 5.0 concluded, it's about time for 6 and 7.'

'And what are those, if I may ask, arlesse?'

She flinched a bit every time the servant hissed the consonants in 'arlesse'.

'For the seventh, this and this.' She pointed at certain markings on the map. 'For the sixth, getting my raven hair back.'

And with that statement, she grabbed a rag and started rubbing her hair once again.

Yet the Charlotte scheme 6.0 was the first one to ever fail miserably, with her surrendering after a battle of four hours. She'll have to endure /ugly/ hair colour for the while. Argh!

Kailani cheered a fantastic roar of triumph when she was told the news, but this didn't mean she could call the younger Jadiras back to the city. The future was still unsure, and she wasn't ready to call back the children when things still had a chance to go wrong. They can wait in the lush forest paradise a little longer. Meanwhile she had to write a letter to the kids about the news.

Akira, deep down in the sewers, had not seen the light of day for weeks now. She had no idea what was going on up there, but she didn't care. Trauma had engulfed her, corrupting her joy and turning her into a trembling, paranoid mess. That monster, the horror! When will it come and kill her? She wasn't going to try and escape to find out, she could just wait for the night terrors to go away, that is, if they do. Maybe these cultists could find some way to make the horror stop..Or make it worse.
