The Ember Fair

Greetings, one and all, you are invited by the grace of his majesty, Great King of the Dominion, Lord and Paramount of Deldrimor, envoy of the Divine Brace, sword of the realm and will of the people, Robert Claythorne the first to the debut showing of the Annual Ember Fair.

The Ember fair is a mix of mini-games and roleplay. Festivities made to celebrate the Dominion. So if you wish to come along, take part and win prizes, mingle in the event roleplay or simply hang out and socialise then please, feel free to join us! Shops will be open throughout the week encompassing the festivities, offering unique player made lore items, drinks and food.

Intro
The sun rises over the lands of the Dominion, the heat beats down as it reaches its zenith on the longest day of the year as the cries of celebration ring out around the collective nations.

On the border of the city of Deldrimor streamers, the colour of flame, blow in the light breeze as people mill about, the sounds of a bow string followed by sudden rapturous applause punctuates the lively conversation.

Nobles and commoners alike from all manner of cultures mingle in large groups, talking and laughing as the guards stand by, uncomfortably hot in their half plate yet still at ease, enjoying the relative peace the nations of the Dominion have secured. Priests mingle with them, praising the flame and basking in the sun as they encourage the ongoing merriment.

As the light of the day wanes, the sun fades on the horizon and the night takes hold flames begin to light across the Kingdom; bonfires, braziers and torches maintain the festivities long into the night, the chatter quieting for the dusk ambience, the jingle of coin and clink of glasses suffuses the murmured conversation long into the night.

Welcome!
As the days lengthen to their longest and the summer is at its hottest, it is believed in the lands of the Dominion that this is the best time to commune with the deity. The worship of flames and the sun hits its most fervent, offerings and celebrations stoke the fires that keep the darkness at bay and grant courage and strength to those enjoying the festivities in the warmth of day.

A carefree attitude is not only encouraged but expected as the harvest is at its best, nature blooms at full vitality and the fires burn the hottest, and what better time to celebrate than at the dawning of the Dominions new holdings and eve of so many glorious victories.
