Icey howling winds roll over the ravine left behind in the wake of the Clicker Crisis. What was left behind to be presumed some inert ruins, a device of ancient times without power or use began to grow active once more. The crystals which tore their way through the crust of Regalia's island, invading the streets and sewers were nothing more but the next chapter to the mystery sitting nice and quiet at the center of the city. Each coveted a message, and bestowed those capable of differentiating the languages the inkling of Marayan work from the past, and their efforts in uncovering technology from another civilization long, long dead. However, warped miss-use of the crystals nearly cost that information, it almost spelt doom for some magically afflicted. Since then the mage storm has ceased its revolution around Regalia, and there has been no further signs of new crystals. Therefore, no further information to gather on what lies below. This prompted scholarly pursuit by a Kade Researcher, among many others to begin to investigate the region. On hands and knees, picking through the dirt around the craggy ancient centerpiece which once held aloft a swirling vortex of energy the Clickers fed off of. Promises from the data of an 'answer to the dragons' secrets of something greater than either 'the void or exist' have been all too enticing for some. Through meticulous labor of mattocks and specimen brushes sifting through the past they had finally discovered what we needed next. An entrance. Out in the harbor now sits a large dwarven drill, ready for use. Primed to burrow deeper. We grow ever closer to pulling back the veil on this mystery. And soon we shall learn what it is that's been hiding beneath our feet all along.
