Purpose of the Crookback CouncilFor many moons, Crookback and its more savoury syndicates have contributed to the wellbeing and upkeep of Regalia in their own small ways. From the simple act of paying taxes to the grander exploits of the Clicker Crisis, their importance has been undeniable. As such, the Regalian State has agreed to work with these syndicates, with a Council in place to act as mouth-pieces, in search of a status quo and a way that both Regalia and the Undercity may prosper. The Undercity will no longer be ignored. The Council exists to enact separate legislation in Crookback than Regalia, as well as install its own legislative process, with the enforcement of the Crookback Militia. It is with great hope that the Syndicates of Crookback and the higher echelons of Regalia's Nobility band together for the continuation and fulfillment of this dream: A better, brighter Crookback. The Council meets weekly, every Friday, at an undisclosed place and time.New Law Changes, effective Immediately in the Sewers and Crookback Bay. For the sake of clarity and ease of read, the 'Undercity' is hereby the collective name of the Sewers & Crookback Bay. Werebeastism & Sanguinism is legal in the Undercity. Removing a denizen of Crookback to cure them of Werebeastism & Sanguinism is illegal, unless unwilling infection is suspected. Undeadism is legal in the Undercity. Any and all restrictions on the use of magic have been removed. Magic, Sorcery, Racial Abilities, and Ritualism are all legal in all capacities in the Undercity. Associating with & recruiting for criminal organisations in the Undercity is legal. The Violet Order are no longer barred from entering Crookback, but do so at their own risk. The pursuit of bounties and warrants by the Violet Order or Mercenaries in the Undercity, outside of those approved by the Council, is illegal. The kidnapping of the noble peerage or government official, both foreign and domestic, is illegal in the Undercity. To bring a noble or government official, both foreign and domestic, against their will (including the use of abilities to suggest or coerce their will), into the Undercity, is illegal. To kidnap a citizen of the Empire and hold them against their will within Crookback is illegal. Enforcing Regalian Law is illegal for all but the Crookback Militia in the Undercity. Law protection by civil status is removed. All are treated equal in the Undercity. To force alignment - Void/Exist/Ordial - upon Archbloods is illegal. Consent for adjusting the alignment of Primal Archbloods is required. Arson, including attempted arson, is expressly illegal. Anyone caught setting fires to buildings for vandalism purposes will summarily be put to death by the Crookback Militia. To not pay any debts incurred through gambling, bets, or theft of service is illegal and will be subject to collection from the Crookback Militia with proof of debt. Breaking of these laws within Crookback and the Sewers, collectively considered the Undercity, will result in arrest and subsequent punishment by the Crookback Militia.

A chad of an Ailor looked at the announcement, "Perhaps assisting people in the sewers would be better than assisting from afar in the city." he mumbled as he awaiting a poster looking to recruit people into the Crookback Militia.
An Altalar looks over the announcement, unable to restrain himself from a light chuckling to come out of his mouth before stating to himself, "A Militia and 'laws' down in the Underground? Curious how long this attempt will last. Should be quite the 'show', though.~"
A Qadir writes in to the council, sitting in the more refurbished clinic he had set up over the course of a day with some minor help. "This should be interesting hopefully, It will help me get more researchers thought the wild sort down here would be more open to applying for any study they wish to create. Hopefully this will bring in some more if we can get in on this council's needs."
Knave hears of the new changes to his town and makes it clear: "Go back to Regalia with your rules! Crookback is free! We live here because we aren't interested in your hegemony.
