The Concordat Society is a gathering of talented people who are masters of their respective spheres. Politicians, clergy, artists, and the military are invited to share their political views, new literary trends, scientific discoveries, and artistic talents. Each gathering will have various topics pre-arranged for discussion and will run the gamut of the current happenings in Regalia.
This gathering is intended for the productive and genial discussion of current events with an eye to providing a public stage for unofficial debate and discourse.
Those automatically invited to the salon are all nobility, all members of government, all generals, commissioned officers, and field commanders within the Regalian military, and all members of the clergy. Nobility may also bring guests they think will add to the discussions at hand, or those who have some piece of scientific or artistic talent to show. People would would like an invitation to that week's salon should write to Lady Howlester.
The first meeting of the Concordat Society will be on November 12th, at 7pm (EST) at the Howlester Estate.
OOC Note: Yes, it's time for the philosophical salons! This is a discussion group where everyone can discuss things from music, to art, to science, food, charity, government movements, and fashion! All of it comes together! Please note that if your character isn't on the list of auto-invited, they absolutely should write a letter!
