I. School Origins:
The School of Bloodcast is a bit of an odd duck in the Knightly Orders, because it does not have an Honor Code. The Bloodcast Knights were a splinter movement created after the failed coup initiated by a few Viridian Knights. The first few Bloodcast Knights believed that the restricting code of Honor put on them was causing them to be suffocated in pomp and duty, and lowered their effectiveness and their charitable work among the poor. They were also disgusted with the splendour of the Viridian Knights, who were frequently known to sacrifice hordes of poor levies in battle for favorable positioning, to come out as the heroes for minimal effort. The Bloodcast Knights are looked down upon by practically every other Knight Order except the Darkwald Knights, as they are essentially hedge knights. The Bloodcast Knights have no restrictions and rules or even a centralized authority, and roam wherever they please to serve what they consider the greater good, which is usually justice, authority, charity, and kindness. Bloodcast Knights are called such because of their crimson capes, symbols of their Knighthood and a treasured and highly important piece of clothing for the Bloodcast Knights, even if they are mostly ceremonial and quickly removed during battle for strategy sake. Bloodcast Knights are the only order who have a relatively free choice of what to do in their lives, and roam the land seeking their own quests and rewards.

Because of this freedom however, Bloodcast Knights can often find themselves on opposing sides, or even committing acts of evil, only because they perceived the situation as different than it actually was. Bloodcast Knights never participate in tournaments or public parades or tests of skill between them and the other Knights, and much prefer to be out on the road like the Darkwald Knights. Bloodcast Knights take pride in their absence from the tests of skill among the other Knights. As such, any Knight of theirs that carousses with Knights from other orders by engaging in duels with them or joining Tournaments, quickly becomes an outcast and unwelcome to the Bloodcast Castle, where they would normally receive more up-to-date training on Longsword usage. While Bloodcast Knights are never formally expelled, getting caught socializing too much with the other Knightly Orders leads to pariah status, which is essentially the same as being expelled. Bloodcast Knights are only identified by the color red, which is most strongly visible in their cape, though their clothing may also feature patterns of red with white lining.

Present day:
Seeing the order not holding a reasonable presence within the city of Regalia, aged knight Lazarus Lupenzi takes up the mantle of leadership of the order which though an odd and more unusual shift for the previously uncoordinated order, he manages to seek out the other known members of the group that are within the city. The Bloodcast order soon beginning to flourish as one of Regalia's most notable in a matter of months, working at the war effort, charitable events and their own missions alongside all of this...

II. Code of the Bloodcast Order:
  • To not flaunt their abilities through tests of skill amongst the other knighting orders.
  • To do good by the people however we may, whomever is in need of it.
III. School values:

The Bloodcasts pride themselves upon their diversity and willingness to accept people of all shapes and sizes, unlike a majority of the other orders that hold strict restrictions upon attendees at their schools, this more often than not acclimtizes the children that attend the school to many of Regalia's cultures and races other than their own and helps them to build up respect for the people of the city at large rather than a specific sub-group.

Though the Bloodcasts can come off at times inofficial and perhaps not as formal as people trained in other orders, for the most part they are often kind, charitable and all-together pleasant to be around with a charming humility.

The Bloodcast Order is essentially a boarding school for children aged ten, they spend a decade at the school to achieve knighthood and their red cape, holidays being permitted every so often to visit family, thus if any parent wishes for their children to spend time at the school, or a child chooses to of their own accord, the school head or either of his captains can be contacted via letter or in person.

Let it be known that there are in fact many cases where the headmaster has allowed older people admittance into the order to go through with squireship to later achieve knighthood like any other child.

I'm also available to help people who wish for a fresh character within the order, and helping their along in their character application process should they need my help (Discord is ZiggyStarDusted#9372)

The Bloodcast Order is always recruiting!

With a storyweb involving the dreaded Duskborn Gang, In-game events, and a real friendly community of people as always.

My Discord is ZiggyStarDusted#9372 for enquiries about setting up a new write-in character or for letters to the school headmaster for new admissions!

Hope to see some fresh faces joining soon. :)

Very much looking to recruit some new faces if anyone is interested in entering the knight community!

When are we getting horse heads on brooms and coconuts to make trotting noises with?

Pleasant greetings upon you!

I, Autumn Faulkner, would like to submit an application to the Bloodcast Order to become a squire. I believe in doing the right thing simply because it is the right thing, not because laws and rules dictate it. I am very interested in the Bloodcast Order for that simple fact, it believes in doing the right thing not for bragging rights or because a code said to, but simply because it is what is right, and that the world needs more good in it. That is something I very much want to be a part of.

I have little prior experience in combat or Knighthood, but as a big game hunter in my old country, I have much experience with the bow and similar arms. I am also currently working as a healer at the Old Town Clinic, and have much experience in the healing and alchemical arts.

I know I do not look like much, but I believe my heart is in the right place and that I do have something to offer the Bloodcast, and I am more than willing to do the right thing not because I feel that I will get in trouble for not, but rather because the world and it's creatures deserve it.

Thank you for your time.

Signed,
Autumn E. Faulkner

To the young sir/lady Faulkner,

If all this runs true that I've just read, you're already on a great start with doing your best for the city and it's people.

Especially working in such a cold season it is quite admirable if I do say so myself. You certainly wouldn't see me settled in my youth so stagnantly!

By all means, you look to be an impressive Bloodcast man-at-arms in the making without even having laid foot in our castle just yet, you seem to already carry a good head upon your shoulders!

Allow us to teach you to swing and sword and hold a shield the same degree you fire your bow and the likes and I must say you look to have a promising time ahead of you.

I'd like to meet with you at your earliest convenience at my office within the city's Knights Quarters to discuss your squireship my friend. - Until then, rest easy.

Yours truly,
Ser Lazarus Lupenzi.
