Defective, ruthless, and intimidating are all the words the mysterious group hopes to embody. This gang is not one with cut outlines of what to do, or what not to do, they act on their own whim and needs. Mostly, The Blackhawks confess to being a protection gang, protecting the people of Old Town from organizations such as guard chapters and prosperous gangs who seek to do renowned harm. This all keeps their ethics open-ended, as they are led by one of the most free-spirited men in Old Town, Nace of Kinverla. His teachings and ways are rather sporadic and maybe the cause of some gruesome techniques, his past shined on by his destruction, and obstinate nature. Many who know him see him as the face of The Blackhawks, the leader, and a representative of what the gang encompasses.
Started in 307 A.C by Nace of Kinverla, a man who has lived through many stages of crime, and from this, The Blackhawks have spurred great notoriety gains within Old Town and New. Being wanted by almost every guard charter for their questionable ideals, whilst also being known for getting bounties and mercurial work completed and finished for other gangs. In the past, they have been a more passive, and good-natured folk who have given back to the working class one way or another. Today, their morals and direction have changed from this passive direction to a more aggressive, and ruthless motive. Proving that willed Ailor, and common-blood alike do not need special abilities to invest in the crime sect of Regalia, the underworld being plagued by such creatures.
Someone may ask what The Blackhawks mainly focus on, their rhetoric, and how they operate. This is a wide variety of things, but what they are proficient at is mainly theft, muggings, home invasions, and brawls. All being invested in a rouge-sense one way or another. They seek coin for themselves, and for the people through bounties and more blurred lines of work. Regalia, as it has come to be, is a city run by Unionist Ailor and guards, and The Blackhawks do not necessarily mean to change that as rumors say, they merely move to work alongside it, and correct it as they see fit, especially when it concerns their side of the bridge separating the two main districts. Some may consider them Jacobin, others may consider them protectors, which builds a clear division between person-to-person on beliefs if this truly is the right thing for slums. So what do think? ... Are you afraid, or do you cherish the company The Blackhawks provide?
To anyone interested in the gang, associating with the gang, or joining, this section is mostly geared toward you. My initial intent in starting The Blackhawks was to help push criminal role play along. The new crime-system was just coming out, and as a push, I threw in a hot-headed criminal, leading followers with strong rhetoric, and I'm proud of what it has become. What we've accomplished in a small amount of time is immense. So far we've held several events, messed with a lot of people, and have stuck truthful to our goal.
Now, as we drive head-first into different phases of MassiveCraft's crime-system I look to do a bit more. I know what we did wrong, and I know what we did well. Focusing on the greater aspects of The Blackhawks is the central focus in the future, building a community of people who can work closely together to insight fear and intimidation as simple, hard-working, non-aberrant, common-blood.
