The Basta and Brissaud Pact
23rd of May 307 AC
On the twenty-third of May, the powers of Basta and Brissaud have found it necessary to come together in defensive unity. Each signatory has promised to shield one another from violence and bloodshed, for the preservation of their holdings and the greater wellbeing of their subjects.
The terms of this pact are as listed:
The signatories of this pact have united the houses of Ravenstad, Delmotte and du Brierust in a mutual defensive pact. Should any foreign entity set foot on Basta or Brissaud soil, it will be deemed as an attack on all three parties. Each signatory has pledged to protect one another's holdings by lending assistance, which has been defined as providing levies, financial assistance and political support.
It is paramount to the integrity of this pact that all signatories remain transparent with one another, and communicate future plans of war and who else they intend to align themselves with.
Signed by,
His Honorable Grace, Grand-Duke Protector of Brissaud, Erwald Ravenstad
His Grace, Duke of Basta, Louis Delmotte
Her Ladyship, Countess of Maraisburke, Constanze du Brierust
