Hey!

I was actually curious as to why there's a piano upstairs in the tavern, but none on the stage. It'd make for more customizable role-play, if musician characters could hop up and accompany the performers. I, for one, would appreciate it myself ;]

Anyway, I was just pondering the thought. Perhaps someone could shed some light on the subject for me! Thanks!

stage is small, piano is big. pianos are notoriously territorial, and may become violent if you attempt to relocate them.

I think it makes sense. It's not like a tavern stage needs to be able to hold a 15 person act or a large orchestra. If anything should take up some of the space, an instrument for entertaining seems like a good contender.
