    Personality and Abilities
    • Talmar has a rather lax attitude on life, and this is evidently very clear as you meet him. His voice is laid back, and at times almost monotone and he does seem to have rather thick skin. This lax attitude also translates into him being a rather kind and open man, and generally rather comfortable to be around. His attitude can not be mistaken for laziness, though, as he can be extremely hard-working and diligent, though generally without showing the amount of stress that does come from work.
    • As opposed to his lax exterior, Talmar holds a fair bit of worry within him. He carries the scars war with him, and they have been cobbled together with the increasing pressure of living up to his father's great stature and name. He is not one to tell others of his insecurities, instead bottling them up, and letting them boil over. He has episodes of anxiety that severely inhibit him, days where his worries crack him down, and the mistakes of the past all return to haunt him.
    • Talmar is a family-man at heart. He is very close to his family, relying on them to keep himself going strong during tough tides. They are one of the few that he has dared to share his insecurities and troubles with, and he trusts that they understand how he feels. This deep love for his family is a clear reacting of his social standing as a Silven, and how this has made others view him. When it comes to friends, they are treated with an equal amount of respect, though they are likely to never truly know the real Talmar. Despite this all, there are truths that not even Talmar’s own kin can know, secrets he hides from everyone.
    • Live and let live. He doesn’t bother to meddle in the affairs of others as long as they are not hurting others. He cares little for what ideology or religion somebody subscribes to, and judges men by their actions and not their words. To him, the two H’s of life, Honor and Honesty, are an important part of a good man’s lifestyle. He endeavours to speak truthfully, and act in a way that will not shame his kin, whilst also being good to those around him.
"Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark."

    Life Story

The Elsnaire Household was in for quite a shock on New-years eve in 270 AC. when they got their first look at the firstborn son of Sornius’, and more notably his eyes. For the boy was not a regular Isldar like his father or mother, he bore the distinctive golden-hue to his eyes only seen in the lowest of low in society, Aberrations. The Boy had drawn the short straw at birth, and become the indirect spawn of an Arken’s power, making him a Silven. His household expressed worry, but none were as worries as his father, who knew how such an event would impact his son in his later years. Sornius’ held a deep love for the boy regardless of his aberration, naming him Talmar.

Talmar grew up in a loving household, his father took great care of the boy, showing him the love and care that the young boy needed to grow up regularly. Sornius moved the boy away from the prying and harsh eyes of the hold, in an attempt at keeping him safe. He grew close to his family, finding security from the harsh world in their midsts. Vivid memories of Sornius’ defending Talmar from the scrutiny of adults, and bullying of his fellow kids alike remained within Talmar’s mind for the remainder of his life, and helped build his father up into the image of this grand and perfect god, a man without flaws or troubles; with the determination to overcome any hurdle. It was this image that Talmar chased, and this image of his father that he so desperately wanted to live up to when he would eventually have to take over.

He had few friends in his youth, and the ones he did were not of any high standing. He befriended street urchins, and poorer people, who found his odd eyes endearing instead of repulsive. These friends of a lower class, though disliked by his father, helped shape Talmar’s view of the world. He saw their merits as people, their skills and abilities. He grew to feel a strange sense of obligation to watch over them, an obligation so strong, it lead his father to comply, and expand his business outwards to affect them, and begin involving their skill-set within forgery and smuggling.
It was around the time his father expanded his business, that Telmar had come of age to choose a career path. He joined the military for a while, learning the basics of becoming a soldier, before joining in the School of Bloodcast to hone his skills. He had not left left the Regalian city walls since his arrival as young boy, and the first time he would do so in a while, would be to head off into war…

War changed him, it left a strong impression on his mind. He grew a strong appreciation for life, as well as a respect for it. He, who had previously not seen any point in meddling with the affairs of strangers, found himself now intervening in fights to save the losing part, out of fear that he may see more death. It was around this time that he had dug out enough knowledge on his Silven heritage, to begin unlocking his innate magical abilities, and practicing with the arcane. His knowledge came solely from a tome of Elemental magic he had managed to acquire through his fathers black-market dealings. He practiced his magic alongside his martial skills as a leader, all the while being groomed by his father to become his successor to the family business; this lead to him learning the basics of commerce as well.

The death of Talmar’s grandfather left a strong impression on the family, especially Talmars father Sornius. The man grew colder, and more harsh; closing his emotions off. Talmar could notice that his father was hurting, yet found it increasingly harder to reach him. This change in Sornius’ demeanour had also translated into his work, and his decisions begun seeming soulless, and without the same passion that Sornius had exhumed in the past; this lead Talmar to doubt his father’s health, only casting more worries upon the young man who now felt the responsibility of keeping his father happy weigh down upon him as well. Despite the pressure, he managed to hold through, focusing more and more on working towards the future.

"All it took was a small fire, to kindle my empty soul, and all it took was a little ice to soothe the burns of wisdom"

Hi! Sorry for the late replies (Again) I kinda suck
    Review time!
    • Even if the cap currently does not affect his points I would still like the mage cap to be included in the proficiencies.
    • Christmas does not exist in lore and so that should be changed in the life story.
    • How can he be a Loyalist Isldar when he was born and raised in Regalia and his parents are apparently deserters to the hold? He needs to be born inside the Frostweavers hold to be a Loyalist Isldar, same with his parents.
Make all changes in a new color and @Rochelle_ in the comments once done!
