Archived Suggestion: Recipe For Snow(78)

Suggestion:
Dear Staff and Massivecraftians

i would like to see a Recipe added for snow(78)
why would you ask good question: there are 2 reasons
1: Decorative
* carpet
* make smaller windows
*have a white flat roof
2: Creative
snow is the only item that stacks in 8 layers.
and without spilling any Secrets there are some great uses for that

so all and all a great block that is already in the game.
and with the other added recipe already in place not a big game changer.

i hope you all like this idea, and cant wait to see your snowy builds

2 snow Blocks = Snow / 2 Snow Ball = Snow

and yes sounds like a fair deal to me.

2 snow Blocks = 4 Snow / 2 Snow Ball = 1 Snow

maybe someone has a better idea for the recipe.
or you just like the idea.

Its oke you don't have to have a nice carpet.
but would you mind if other people had a snow carpet?
or how about some slow slope stairs to your temple?

Carpet, made from wool, is suppose to be in the 1.6 release, if I remember correctly. If you want a snow carpet, build a snow golem. This will make a snow carpet in areas where that would be appropriate. The only thing this doesn't give you is the snow stairway, or thin slit windows, for which the crafting formula would be a good solution.

However the snow would be nice, in the next minecraft update, there will be carpets that can be coloured and ETC, so the carpets thing is just something we can wait a bit for.

I know they are in the game. But only in creative mode and not in survival mode. There isnt a crafting recipe for them. So why not make a custom recipe for Massivecraft. It would be great for my dwarf faction build.

We can make snow layers, 3 snow blocks in a row makes 6 snow layers. Its been in minecraft since the last update.

Actually there is a crafting recipe. Just put stone brick in a crafting box. Just one stone brick, no pattern. It will cycle through the different types as has been stated.
